We hired Two Men and A Truck for a residential move on July 31, 2024, but the experience turned out to be highly disappointing. Instead of the "Movers that Care" several items were damaged during the transportation process, and they billed for an extra hour despite us catching them sitting in the truck several times (and we called the office to alert them to get the crew moving). We even fixed them sandwiches since none had brought anything for the 7 hour move, not even water when the temps were close to 100. We had to put up a $350 deposit which was supposed to be applied to the final balance. Mid-move their office called and asked if it was okay to charge the credit card for the remaining balance, but they did not offset the deposit and charged for the whole invoice. Since the move we have contacted their office by telephone three times and sent photos of the damaged item via e-mail that they provided. Lately, they are not answering our calls and won't call back from voice messages we've left.

Title: Disappointing Experience with Two Men and A Truck and EFCU - Negative Zero
    Review:
"I engaged Two Men and A Truck for a residential move, but the experience turned out to be highly disappointing. Several items were damaged during the transportation process, including my refrigerator and glass salt and pepper grinders. Despite my attempts to seek resolution, I received inadequate compensation from the merchant. To add to the frustration, I had to spend $700.00 extra to a licensed electrician to repair the power line the movers tore down while backing into the driveway. The lack of accountability and professionalism from both the merchant and my credit union has left me deeply dissatisfied with the entire experience."

It should be zero. I have never made a bad review in my 55 years of life. They gave me an estimate, moved 10 miles, to an apartment. I emailed the manger numerous pictures of the damage, the time it took for the move was because they had a person in training, which held them up by hours. They had no tools on the truck, mine were packed, I had to borrow a screw driver and wrench from a neighbor for them to disassemble furniture. The dropped items off the truck, they had numerous screws they came out of a king bed which were not put back in, I found them when I stepped on them. I could make the entire list, but the manager has all notes and pictures, the list is extensive. When he called me about the issues, he told me I had to pay the balance, the estimate was approximately 1100.00; then he said it was 1900.00 and I had to pay it, I told him I was not paying anymore than the estimate, I was deducting all of the repairs and replacements I have to make on the damages. They also charged me for mirror boxes and mattress covers which were never used, many items were not covered or wrapped. There is a dispute with the company, but , please be aware using using this company.

No stars if I could give it. Hired this company that had been highly recommended to move an elderly friend who lost her house for Hurricane Ida. Their movers showed up an hour late, They took little care of what they were packing and how they packed it in the truck. Put gouges in the top of her dining table. Their offer to repair was $60-what a joke! I provided a reasonable professional estimate which they declined to pay. She begrudgingly accepted their offer because she has no resources to fight them legally. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!
