  We ordered and paid $3000+ up front for some historic wrought iron porch and stair railings, supposed to be installed before 7/4/22. He gives us excuse after excuse, won’t refund our money, won’t send us a pic of the iron (if it exists) and is now not returning phone calls, texts or emails.

  We have never had a complaint before so I've been processing everything that is happening. ***** ********* is attacking us on Facebook and threatening to attack me and my husband
  and our business on LinkedIn, Nextdoor ect... She has threatened me personally via text saying she's going to contact schools and churches. She's tagging anyone who "likes my
  posts" and claims she's going to do a TikTok video "exposing us". All of these tagged posts are claiming that we are frauds. She has taken our profile pictures and created a publisher
  document with the words Beware and Frauds ect... And she is posting and tagging me daily on Facebook.
  

  ***** ********* has also accused us of stealing from abandoned houses, she saw a picture from February of 2018. We purchased the house, it's from the 1800's, for the wood. There
  was no theft. ***** *********'s husband, **** *********, has threatened to come to our home with the police. We responded by sending our address and requesting that they come respectfully.
  They never came by.
  

  We never insinuated that we were not going to fulfill our obligations. We are no longer responding to them because of these attacks. We have reported them to the BRPD and the HPD regarding defamation of character and
  harassment. We have not engaged in a social media war with ***** ********* or **** *********.

  I am rejecting this response because: she is not addressing the issue that they received money for a job they did not do. I asked for a refund, denied. He’ll see me in court. Yet he texts that my “railings are done, he’ll bring them to court.” Why not just bring them to my house and do the job you were paid up front to do?? And yes, I AM warning my communities through social media about this Fraudulent Contractor, although it seems people KNOW this already. He banks on the fact that most people don’t like confrontation or feel comfortable dealing with mentally ill people  and won’t take the time to go to court, he just gets free money. He is not licensed and insured as he states in person and on business pages, and he doesn’t have a contractors license in La. He has multiple issues with the parish with neighbors complaining about the condition of his home and yard, being full of salvage yard finds, junk, trash and rats. He a fraud all the way around.

   

   

  I am 50 years old and run a nonprofit 501c3 animal rescue. I live a life of Service. I pay my taxes, tithe my church, I do my job. I WILL NOT be taken advantage of willingly. His reputation, personal and professional, aren’t worth a dime. He claims superior status as a Sovereign Citizen, doesn’t follow our “black laws” and doesn’t answer to anyone. I don’t think the BBB CAN help resolve this because he just doesn’t care. I’m pretty sure more people will see my social media postings than would EVER look a business up with the BBB. I ask for resolution… refund my $3000 or do the job. And as you can see by attached texts, which I have TONS) HE was the one threatening violence. That’s why I reject that ridiculous “answer”, it doesn’t ADDRESS THE ISSUE.
