Our water heater went out and then our sump pump did, Christmas Eve. We had flooding in the basement. Since I have been going thru cancer treatments, (chemo, radiation,,...etc), I was unable to fix it myself, or even go down the stairs. The wife called Jolly plumbing. They were a little expensive, but their work was fine. They suggested calling Jolly Cleaning and Restoration to dry it up and eliminate any potential mold issues, so she did. Jason K*** came out to our house and gave us a verbal quote. It included drying up the basement, cutting out the lower part of the drywall, removing paneling, checking for mold, and removing all the construction debris and all garbage that the flooding destroyed. I then ask him if it also included repairing anything that they had to remove or cut out... basically, put the basement back to what it was before. He said yes, he would take care of everything, as a courtesy. My wife heard him also. So, we excepted he's verbal quote. I received the written quote roughly a week after they had done the initial work. I kept texting and calling him about when he was going to finish the work and he finally came back out, (2-3 weeks? later). He then told me, the initial quote, did not cover the repairs. I told him to leave right now. He straight up lied to myself and my wife. I told her, I would pay someone double, if I have too, before I would give the liar Jason K***, 1 **** dime. I guess I have to select a star, but I would have preferred it could have been a negative star rating.
