I went to dentist Arnett back in late June of 2020. It was first time ever on Medicaid due to the pandemic and losing working. I had lost a filling earlier on in the pandemic but there were no dentist open in the area. I ended up having to move to Louisville because of a family emergency so I went to Arnett because he was in the area and the first available appointment (I was making in May). I was greeted by the intern who was also the receptionist, she was extremely kind and so professional. Honestly I've never met someone in a position like that who carried themselves so well. I would give her five stars but I'm not here to review her. The office was not as clean as it should have been; it was covered in dust and spider webs. He began by asking me why I was there which for a cleaning and to have my missing filling checked. He quickly forgot this and I had to remind him multiple times that I needed to have my filling refilled. Then he asked me if I was on Medicaid which I told him yes. He asked me if I had a job I told him no I had lost my job because of the pandemic and had just moved back to Louisville because of a family emergency. He told me if I had graduated from college then I wouldn't be unemployed and I wouldn't be on Medicaid. I have graduated from college. (And on my first visit I told him this). He then proceeded to ask me about where I was living before Louisville. I told him in Chicago. He told me there was a lot of gun violence there and I was lucky I hadn't been shot. Then he begins to clean my teeth, starts to clean but suddenly he stops and he asked me again are you on Medicaid. I respond yes I am. He then removes things from the tray next to me for my teeth cleaning. It was the shortest teeth cleaning of my life lasting about 6 minutes. While he was cleaning my teeth he spent most of the time being amazed that my teeth were clean and straight. My full review is on ******.
