      Contracted Ky Hardscapes and Design to install fiber glass pool. Caught using seal tape over under ground plumbing. Lied to constantly. Shotty work. Placed skimmer to low to cover steps inside pool with water Left project unfinished with open whole in pool deck at skimmer location. Did not stand by warranty.

      I signed a contract with KY Hardscapes on 7 June 2024. I asked if it was possible that the work would be done by the 28th June it might get done, but not sure. The work was done 5 Aug. I paid a total of $10388.00.decided to put lightposts along the steps toward the driveway.The 8 posts lights, wires between the posts were $ 822.56 plus labor costs. Paid on 5 August. they had to order everything and it would be 2 weeks. I texted when they install the posts.. 11 oct they said will pick up lights. 16 oct nobody came. They said they will look “at my guy schedule” will text back. 18 oc, it will be Monday, 21 Oct still waiting for them to come. Reply: I am waiting for my guys to get back. 22 Oct: coming to start light installation today after lunch. I waited nobody came. Reply: let me check to see what happened an I will let you know. 29 Oct: I asked when they finish. Answer: fence coming in tomorrow. They changed the posts to a fence , put up 3 panels and asked if that would be ok. I was tired of waiting and said that would be ok. They said completing Thursday. Thursday nobody came. A text when I asked what happened: oh my goodness, my fault! I got my days mixed up, they are picking up right now. Our fence company is out of town. Sunday night I texted back and wanted to know when they come. The worker said something about solar lights and I told him solar lights don’t work well on the north side of the house and I had the wires already laid for lights.. I told her to be sure they do not install solar lights. Answer: ok. I will double check the lights to see what we need to connect efficiently. Monday 4 November I asked if they are coming, I have to plan my day. Answer: go ahead and plan, it will be a bit before they come. 5 nov I will call you back.
      11 nov: they are definitely come tomorrow. Nobody came. Have not heard from them since

      My name is ******** ******

      I am the rep for Kentucky Hardscapes and Design of *** ******** ****** ********* **.  The project as far as the steps she requested us to install has been completed.  The lights that she wanted us to put in came in after the project was completed.   After reviewing the lights and the way they were to attach to the stairs, they were not going to work.  We had to change the whole plan for lights.  We are still putting the lights in, however, because of the way the steps lay beside the driveway, we had to redesign the way it was going to be completed.  We have installed aluminum fencing, at no extra cost to her, to ensure that people backing out from the driveway did not end up in her new steps.  We added black aluminum fencing at no cost to her and actually have just found the lights that will work with her driveway.  She did not want solar lights, so we had to ensure that whatever lights we installed were low voltage.  We have told her that she was not being charged for the labor to install these she just had to purchase the lights which she did.  Her total cost for the lights she wanted were $ $1178.00.  The only she would have to pay for extra was the wiring and the transformer necessary to run the lights.  The new lights with transformers will cost her will be $956.00, not to include any material to run wire and transformer.  We do not owe her $11, 210.56 because the major project, installing paver steps, has been completed.   I have my guys scheduled for December 6th to complete the project.   For any question, please contact us at 606-416-1952.

      I paid $10,000 to have the concrete around my pool fixed, sand and resurface the pool and apply a coating. The end result left my pool area in worse shape, the holes in the concrete were not fixed, resurfacing was chipped, not sanded down and the wet concrete had their footprints in it. The owner of company came over after job was done and promised to redo the job and send me the extra $3500 that was owed to me. She will not answer our calls or texts so we can settle this. She also will need to replace my pool liner due to workers getting the concrete inside pool plus need to replace the tubing that goes around pool.
