      The owner of this place is a piece of trash. Story time: My fiancee and I, and were so excited to see they had the furniture we wanted for a decent deal. We were being told such great things about built rite and how they’re never having their prices beaten and they have the best furniture blah blah. Well though the price might have been decent, with this being my fiancee and I’s first time doing this, we pulled the trigger to order the couch we wanted without measuring.
      Fast forward to yesterday (Friday Oct. 24, 2025), i go into Built Rite in the morning to break the news that unfortunately the couch is not going to fit and I know i messed up so i wasn’t looking for a refund or a cancellation, but i was looking for some grace on a couple 21 year old first timers. I got to the store right before the truck was pulling in with my furniture on it, so it’s still BRAND NEW AND IN THE PLASTIC UNUSED. But no, Charlie loves his money.
      Long story short, Charlie wouldn’t do a thing, said “there’s nothing I can do” and proceeded to send multiple sales guys to talk to me since he wouldn’t. My fiancee and I thought of an idea where we could send back one Chaise since it was a double Chaise sofa, and just swap it for an Ottoman since it’s virtually the same price. Cheaper even, and i was okay with eating the money. Well, turns out we are able to do that and we would have to pay an ADDITIONAL $135 restock fee (brand new by the way) on top of the $1850 we spent for the sofa. I said well, it’s apart of learning, so i said we’ll do it.
      Get this, Charlie comes back to tell his sales guys “you did it wrong” aka “i’m not getting enough money” and is going to charge me $251 restock fee for the ENTIRE sofa instead of just one chaise. This way, he can send the entire couch back, reorder something smaller and worth less, to pocket some more money. He’s a piece of garbage. This is how crooks work. I will NEVER be back to this store after I get my stuff. Thanks for nothing Charlie
