    I found a bike 4 hours away from my house that I wanted to purchase, the owner had a loan through HDFS. I researched the Rider to Rider program and wanted to buy using this feature for security. I applied for credit at this dealership and was approved. Heather at the dealership called me and gave me information about the program, but asked for the seller's price and name. Not thinking anything about it, I gave it to her. I let the seller know we had an appointment on Saturday for the inspection of the bike and to do the paperwork, while we were discussing the details, the Harley dealership showed up at his house and he let me know. I asked, why are they there? He told me that they had called him within 30 minutes of our conversation about the appointment and had represented themselves as looking at the bike for me. He said he had purchased parts from them before and must have looked up his phone number through their system. After looking over the bike, they made an offer for the same amount that I had told Heather at the dealership. This rubbed him and I the wrong way and he didn't want sell the bike to them for acting so shady and preferred to sell it to me. Instead of going through this dealership I bank wired HDFS directly and they are sending me the title release in the mail and I saved myself $730.
