I have been charged numerous fees over and over for the past year or more. I pay it all and still get charged for the same thing on the next month's bill. I have tried and tried to resolve this matter with them, but they insist that it's all correct and I'm just looking at it wrong. I understand that I'm usually late every month and there will be late fees and reconnect fees, but this has gotten completely out of control. Can you please help me out with this?

When looking at the 12 month history of the account, there
are 13 charges other than bills that were generated for services used. Of these
charges, nine (9) are penalties due to the monthly payment not being on time,
Nicholasville Public Utility bills are due on the 10th of each
month, and any account that has not paid its balance in full is subject to a
penalty after this date. With the four (4) remaining $25.00 charges, two (2) are
for returned payments, this is something that our bank charges to the Utility, and
this is passed onto the customer to cover the charge and processing of the reversal.
The remaining two (2) $25.00 charges are reconnect fees, any account that has
an outstanding balance after the 21st of each month is subject to disconnection.
In addition, any account that has a payment for a previous balance returned is
subject to disconnection the following day if another payment is not received
by the end of the current business day, we make every effort to contact
customers once our bank notifies us of a return. When looking at the account,
it looks like both service disconnections were due to a returned payment. If
you would like a detailed breakdown of the transactions on the account please
contact our office and we can discuss these by phone, ***** ********* or we can set
up a time to meet and review them in person.
