    Simple blood test. Was quoted $60 cash via phone call but they said I could use my insurance card and not pay anything out of pocket if I wanted. They had a strict instructions on timeline from my doctor on how soon it had to be tested before the sample went bad. (My doctor said they use this lab all the time for this same test). The lab failed to meet the time requirements for one reason or another by more than a day so the test results were no good. I had to test again and this time we went with another lab.

    Now I have recieved a bill for $578.98 for that simple $60 quoted blood test. Obviously they are just gouging my insurance. My insurance paid them $260.33, about double of the highest going rate nationally for this blood test. They say I owe the remaining $318.65.

    I can not afford this and I was quoted one amount and they switched the price. All while messing up the timeline and making the lab work unusable. I’d like at least my amount owed cleared. I can’t get a hold of anyone there other than what sound like offshore customer service centers.
