    Contracted for 6 windows on October 28, 2021 with an anticipated installation prior to Christmas that same year. After multiple calls and emails asking when installation would begin, a crew showed upon on Easter Sunday 2022 and left at 11:00pm that evening. During the "installation" one window was cracked and we were told, via Google Translate, that it would be replaced within 2 weeks. The next day we realized that of the 4 windows in the bay, one was broken, one you can't open and the third won't stay shut. Several attempts to contact Mr. John T******, Owner of Window Depot, all went unanswered. We filed a complaint with Home Advisors on March 22, 2022 and the Ohio Attorney General's Office on June 29, 2022.
    Last week we received a threatening letter stating if we did not pay the remainder due on the contract that he would place a lien on our home. I sent a certified letter to the address provided on the notice and it still remains unclaimed. Another letter was received again today. I left a voice mail on the cell phone number provided; I don't expect a response.
    Stay away from this company.

    Trying to have a VELUX Skylight installed by this company has been a mistake. The sales person received our check and cashed it days later. The constant phone-tag/runaround has been frustrating and without a definite installation date. Finally, weeks after signing the contract, there is still no timely, nor professional communication. My next step is to proceed with legal action to have my deposit refunded asap. Caveat emptor! - Just look elsewhere, save your time and prevent inconvenience.
