I had some plumbing work done today (Tuesday 1.23) by Masers. I made my appt online (super easy), then had to reschedule it and called. The receptionist was polite and helpful. The plumber (Brian) was so professional, agreeable, quick working and mindful of my home. The price was more than fair and Id 100% use them again!Maeser Master Services Response

The company is outrageous. I don’t even know what I paid for and they refuse to give me an itemized bill. They just keep saying they can only give me a total. The guys weren’t even here two minutes and it cost me over $300. I don’t even think they had time to walk in the bathroom, I’ve called three times I cannot get anybody to send me an email or anything they keep saying we’re trying. I’ve had them try six emails and I’m still not getting any results. Nobody can tell me what I’ve paid for this company is a joke and beyond disgusted no one‘s even calling me back I have to aggravate them and I’m getting nowhere For what they charged me they overcharged me and they know it and they refused to do anything about it or even let me know so if they ever come to your house, you probably wouldn’t get a bill before you even hand them a check I know I’ve learned my lesson. If you can’t give me an itemized bill you don’t get a check , I’m disgustedMaeser Master Services Response

I called at 9 AM and they were there by noon. Freddy S**** who is the plumber that fixed our issues and was very courteous. He even spoke with my realtor and the buyers realtor to assure them that everything was up to code and the sale our house went through. Excellent service and thank you Freddy !Maeser Master Services Response

Deceptive practices - as members, we get a free ac/hvac check once or twice a year. We had no issues until last week. John D. Was sent over and found over $15k in repairs needed. Didn’t like his responses to my answers (vague) and he was using a very “fear” tactic to get us to make the repairs. Said there was a carbon monoxide leak, that it was dangerous and needed fixed asap. Got a second opinion- all of the things needing repair are magically just fine. Playing with people’s emotions to make sales- might work for one time customers, but you’ve lost a long term customer for life.Review from Charity C

honestly would NEVER. recommend this company to anyone. i had a heat pump system installed 3/10/23. i’ve have nothing but ISSUES since instillation. the service tech Stacy B. has lied more than anyone could even count at this point. lied about having a 15Kw in the initial install. they had to replace my air handler because it wasn’t the correct system for my home. they have been here 8+ times trying to fix why my AC isn’t cooling my home. the new air handler was placed 8/24/23. and within one day the system never shut off. come to find out. the air handler installed isn’t compatible with my outside unit(it’s too small.) and furthermore there was supposed to be a 15kw also with that and they tried to HIDE! my 30amp breaker wire meaning they only installed a 10kw. completely wrong. i’m fed up with this company!Review from Dan W

Maeser Master Services 58-Day Heat and Air Nightmare Installation 5/17/23Maeser in Louisville,KY came to our home to bid on installing a new heat/air system. The estimator said a 3-ton unit would be more than adequate. I asked him 3 times, was he sure a 3-ton would do the job. He assured me it would. The bid was for an air handler variable speed indoor heat pump and plenum, with 1-day install. 5/22:They came to install the unit. It took all day, but they didn’t get the unit installed. There was no air in our home. Didn’t say when they would return. That weekend the temp reached 90+. The new unit was holding at 78. It would go no lower. I knew the unit was undersized. I saw where the installers burned our carpet and two walls with a blowtorch. Maeser came back to install the correct unit. Before they started, they wanted me to sign a paper saying they weren't responsible for any damages incurred during the installation of the equipment. So while they are using a blowtorch, which they had already burned our carpet and 2 walls, they wouldn’t be liable if they burned our house down. I refused to sign the paper. For the next 14 days, we had to leave our home because we had no air conditioning during the heat of summer. Again they said I had to sign their paper saying they weren't responsible for damages done during the installation process. I refused. After a few phone calls, they finally installed the correct unit after 58 days to do a 1-day install. The next day the installers had to come back. The unit was leaking water on our wood floor. They had not used glue to hold the drainpipe together. *The installers were not licensed, unprofessional, used the f-word, never apologized for all the delays, mistakes, and damage they caused to the home. For 15 days, we were unable to stay in our home, because our new air system was not installed.Review from Kirsten Y

We noticed a leak coming from our mini split on 5/11/23 and contacted Maeser to fix the leak. Milael B********* came on 5/13 to examine the leak we were having due to our mini split and check out the mini split in our room because it was not putting out cold air. He said that there was a clog in the tube and cleared it out but suggested that we may have a refrigerant leak so someone needed to come out to look for that. The leak in our dining room from the mini split was still not fixed after this visit. We paid $99 for this service call. John D** came out on 5/17 to do the refrigerant check and did not find a refrigerant leak. We paid $350.47 for this service call. John D** came out again on 5/31 because the dining room ceiling was still leaking and the mini split in our room was still not putting out cool air. I called Maeser and spoke with Claire on 6/2 and she referred me to Stacy the manager. Stacy called me on 6/2 and told me that he was going to take care of us. Kevin B***** came out on 6/4. He said that he thought he might have an idea of how to fix it but needed to get literature from the manufacturer so he could better understand the unit. John D** was sent back out on 6/7 to fix the leaking mini split and also the mini split in our bedroom. He said that it would be over $550 for the work so I contacted Stacy and asked if the money we’ve already spent could be applied to this since we’d had no resolution to our problems. Stacy said that we would only pay for the price of the parts which was $200. While working, John said he would need to cut the wall so that he could reach the back of the unit where he thought the leak was coming from. Once he cut the wall he discovered what he thought was asbestos and left our house. A company came out on 6/8 and took samples but didn’t see any signs of asbestos - the results came back negative. This cost us $298.88. The issue was finally fixed on 6/14 by Kevin B*****. We had to pay $306 for this visit.Review from Leonardo C

I contracted this company to install a new AC System and after 42 days the system is not working. They do not fix the problem, the house is hotter inside than outside. They are disrespecting me because when I call the company asking for my trouble they ask the same questions and send a technician that does not know what to do. They have bad communication with the manager and technician, the technicians have come to my house 10 times and they had made me waste a lot of my time to have any result. Now I assume that I am in a vicious circle without solving my trouble nobody can fix it. I tried to connect with the person who sold the service, but when he made a debit of 5,000 on my Home Depot credit card he ignored my messages. Please I need to talk to the CEO of the company. I don't know what to do my wife and I cannot sleep at night. Please I need help, if they don't know what to do they have to find another company to do the job. My name is Leonardo C******* **** ******* ****, Louisville, KY 40218. What they have done in my house shows that they have poor quality in their job, they made me buy a new blower because they say that that was the trouble, they have had tried to justify their awful job looking to decline the lack of skills of their technicians on their things.Review from tamara n

I recently responded to maeser's tv ad for a 39.00 ac check. When I made the appt I specifically asked for that. Nice guys showed up and went directly to basement. I told them AC unit was outside. After 30 mins in the basement I was told my furnace was dangerous and that they were concerned for me!! was given quote of 3400 to 4300 to fix! I asked about the AC and they said it was too dirty to see anything. when I paid he said it was 49. I told him it was 39 yet he said there was a fuel charge. Not according to ad. Additionally, they disabled my furnace without telling me. I have since had it looked at and cleaned for 80.00. was told it should last another season. And got a quote of 3k for a new one...less than what maeser wanted to "fix" Looks like a scam to me!Review from yurisney S

The most expensive service I have ever paid for... with the lowest quality. I had the heating and air conditioning installed on 02/06/2020. $5710.54 , "The house is only 1240 square feet." In 2021 in the middle of winter the heating broke down... more than a week to repair it. Today, 12/09/2022, in the middle of summer, the compressor broke down... in any case, it was difficult to lower the temperature by 1 degree, and not because of any obstruction, the filter is changed once a month. They charged me $99 just for telling me that the compressor doesn't work and that I have to wait a month for the new one.... and on top of that I have to pay another $1200 to install it... more than $7000 for a piece of equipment that it doesn't stop breaking..... and all that supposedly giving its best offers to the client.... Ridiculous !!!! Don't waste your time and money with this company, I searched the internet and the whole kit cost around $2000 that means that for this service I would have preferred to buy all the necessary equipment and learn to do the job.... and I bet it would have been better than this disaster.... I would have kept the knowledge and the tools. I'm going to upload the photos so you can judge for yourselves... I don't know what they did but when they installed the heating the floor in that area of ??the house lowered a little... they didn't change the cables that go to the thermostat or the compressor , they left the 220VAC disconnect cover open... the box that LG&E installed disconnected and the cables on the ground. I think that with more than $3000 profit they could have done something better or at least take responsibility for the bad job they did.
