    Awful experience. Advertises that you can get replacements, then they wont give them any sooner than 48 hrs prior to an event. Also incredibly misleading on site it reports that it will send your attire 14 days prior to event. They fail to let you know thay during 'peak wedding season' they will fulfill your order 3-7days prior to said event. Leaves little to no time to get replacements. Fits are awful. Go to a tailor. Don't use this garbage

    Do not ever rent from Generation Tux.
    Multiple groomsmen were missing pieces from the suits. Two pairs of suspenders and one pocket square were missing. Additionally one groomsman never received the return shipping envelope and is currently stressed out about having to pay late fees or for the shipping.
    Buttons popped off of two suits during the ceremony. Multiple groomsmen had severe suit fit problems, and the groom himself had to send it back three times and then still get it tailored afterwards.
    Additionally, the tuxedos are very expensive to rent. You could get much higher quality suits for the same price or lower, or rent a superior tuxedo for the same price at a store like mens warehouse.
    Their website is structured so you don't have a permanent account - you're part of an event, and then when it's over your account is gone. As a groomsman, I don't have access to review my experience. Many people also accuse their website of disallowing negative reviews, and given their 0% 1 star experience rate and my 1 star experience this past weekend.
    The only thing I can say in their favor is their shipping times are fairly quick.
    Just don't use this service. It's not a scam, but it's an extremely poor quality experience.

    Should be zero stars but that is not a choice.
    This company steals.
    I inquired about waiving/reducing the $25 per day late fee. I explained the rented items would need to be returned late due to my son entering the incorrect prom date. I did not expect a reduction or waiver to occur but the company never contacted me. I am disappointed that the company did not reach and work with me to address the matter. Due to my unfortunate experience I rate the customer service as MIA and the flexibility as none.

    Less than 1 Star rating.
    Nothing fit after multiple attempts and after returning my tux i was notified I would be charged $50 for damages to a sleeve that was not damaged when returned.
    After reading reviews I would imagine they are scamming individuals on returns to make extra money.
    Definitely would not recommend this company.

    A MONTH after i returned the stuff they charged me $600 stating i didn't return the blazer, which is so utterly false because it was returned. I guess it's he said/she said, and they have the ability to say nope you didn't send it back and can take $600 without question. Unbelievable
    Generation TUX is a SCAM!

    Generation Tux is a business that is trying to take any dime they can from you in the hopes you don’t notice. A few weeks ago my younger brother gets married and we ordered from generation tux. My suit was delivered to me with a small fabric tear in the back of the pants. Like a road rash tear. Now I could not return in time for the wedding which was not a problem for me because the tear was small not noticeable. After the wedding they start pulling money from you for late fee on their rentals. Which is not published for you to acknowledge it when purchasing. My suit was sent back almost immediately and they still preceded to charge me two late fees after being sent out. These late fees were refunded after I emailed and waited. Now 50$ isn’t much but when they decided to take 200$ from my account for the tiny tear on the pants. They left me with an empty account and now no way to my job because I can not put gas in my car. I work myself as much a possible for the little money I earn just to have some company take it all for no legitimate reason. This company continues to take from there customers with no repercussions and they need to be held accountable for the worry and struggle they put us through.

    I just used Generation Tux as a groomsman last week, and would not advise anyone for a few reasons. I wanted to post this on applicable threads because I do not think Generation Tux allows negative reviews to be visible on its website:
    Compared to a traditional rental from an actual tailor, I would not recommend Generation Tux. Although they were able to ship me multiple new pieces quickly, the final fit was not right even after 3 rounds, which was completely ridiculous and time-consuming to facilitate. The algorithm is overly simplified (Shirt size only S/M/L?) which unsurprisingly led to a bad initial fit. All the pieces were extremely wrinkly in each order and needed to be steamed. I will say, the Stance brand socks were nice and you can keep them.
    Because the tuxes they ship are not tailored and are more similar to off-the-rack pieces at the store, you may never get the right size like me. In my case, I needed a 33-inch sleeve length which does not exist, only "32-33" and "33-34" shirts were sent to me, and one was far too long, while the other was far too short.
    Customer service reps were nice but were clearly overwhelmed with work and not attentive to details due to wedding season in full swing - at one point I was sent the same wrong-fitting shirt twice.
    Also, this service is not any cheaper than traditional tux rentals at M**** ********** J*** ****, or local tailors I have done in the past - and the quality of the Generation Products is notably worse. The pants were thin to the point I was concerned about tearing, and the black color of the tuxes was faded - not the deep black I have rented elsewhere.
    Overall, I would not use Generation Tux again, and will advise those I know against it. It might have been worth it if the price was $125-150, but not for the mid-$200 price I paid. Other groomsmen in my group also had issues.

    Got my suit for a friends wedding and it fit pretty well to be honest. Unfortunately, the hem was VERY apparent, and it looked awful. I called and they were very responsive, but unfortunately sent a suit with the same problem, only worse the second time around. I asked for a refund, and they asked I send the suit back 5 days before the wedding for a full refund. I get that I didn't like the product, but what else was I supposed to wear for the wedding? Great service, awful product.

    After turning tux in they charged me $600 stating that I had not. They then attempted to scam me out of 200 more dollars. I had to block my account so they weren’t able to do this. After reading other peoples reviews, it makes me wonder if this isn’t part of their business plan at this point in the game. I did, in fact, turn my tux in exactly as I was instructed to do. Their product isn’t good enough to warrant anyone stealing anything from them.

    Generation Tux is a complete fraud and they should be shut down immediately! Rented my 10 year old nephews suit months in advance and they sent me men’s size 42 clothing! Now a week and a half before my wedding and they tell me they don’t carry kids size in my suit! What a joke. Avoid this company at all costs!!!!
