    The business committed to providing me with legal representation which never happened. I paid the retainer to receive legal representation by ***** ****. After the retainer was paid he not one time responded to any phone calls or emails from me. He was supposed to represent me in court on 2/20/2023 regarding a custody case with my daughter. He did not show up and therefore the case was passed to trial. As of this day he still has not called nor responded to any emails on what happened. He basically took my money and did absolutely nothing that was promised in the contract I signed. I requested a full refund back since no service at all was provided and he has been avoiding me ever since. The business has made no effort in trying to resolve the matter and every time I call they say Mr. **** will call me back and he never has.

      On May 8, 2023 our office received the attached notice of Complaint by ******** *******.   I would like to respond to this matter.   Ms. ******* previously filed a complaint with American Express to collect a chargeback of the fees that she had paid our firm.  That was denied by American Express.   Ms. ******* then filed a complaint with the Kentucky Bar Association.  I have attached hereto a copy of our response to the Bar Complaint as well as the response of the Kentucky Bar Association closing the matter in our favor.   As you can see, our firm has made every attempt, including a substantial reduction of attorney fees, in an effort to satisfy Ms. *******’s complaints.   If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.       ******* ****** Paralegal/Office Manager   **** & **** Attorneys PLLC 12004 LaGrange  Road Louisville, KY 40223

    I am rejecting this response because: While there is some truth to what was said in the response the underlying issue is that I hired Mr. **** to assist in getting resolution to my parenting schedule issue PRIOR to May 19th. That is why the motion was filed and he was supposed to be there to argue the motion but he did not show up at all and provided no explanation as to why and then did not return any of my phone calls or text messages after. He did not communicate with me at all from the day his office took my $5,000. I called his office over 10 times and not one time did he return my call which is extremely unprofessional considering how much money I was charged. Because of the VERY poor service I was given and the terrible communication, I should not have been charged for anything. The motion that was filled was a complete waste because he was not present on the motion hour to even represent me which is what I was paying for. The $1,000 that I was charged should be refunded to me because I did not receive the service I paid for.
