      1 star
April 2019, I hired Larry Forman based on his online presence, almost 100, 5-star reviews. Larry lied at the 1st meeting and said he could definitely win my case at trial even though he had not looked at any of the evidence in my case. Larry never had any intention of taking my case to trial because the only thing he did was take my money and reschedule my trial date for over 6 months without my knowledge or consent. He never showed up to court himself, and he told me he would not be there. He had his associates come on his behalf whom I had never met. A few times, I went to court looking for Larry even though he told me that I did not need to attend. Our communications, for 6 months, were limited to numerous emails or texts, which I initiated, and he only called me one time to discuss my case which I think is very unprofessional. In early October 2019, Larry emailed me and said that he still planned on taking my case to trial, and he set up the first phone appointment with me to discuss my case. I was shocked that Larry called me while he was at the airport, going on vacation, so the background was very noisy and not private. I was flabbergasted that Larry totally changed his tune and told me that he did not think we would be successful at trial, and I would need to find another attorney. November 2019, a major issue that arose because I did not attend the very last court date because Larry did not tell me to attend. Larry emailed me that I should have shown up to court because there was a bench warrant for my arrest, but he refused to help me. He said I needed to hire a new attorney to get this bench warrant set aside and to take my case. I have 11 emails, with Larry, over a 6 month period which he stated that he was taking my case to trial. He never said I did not have a triable case until over 6 months after I hired him. Larry blames these issues on an associate whom he fired. However, Larry is the only one I communicated with.

Dear Ms. Si*****, I am sorry about the experience you have had with our firm 4 years ago. At the time, I had an associate who has since been fired for mishandling of clients' cases and has since been replaced. Ms. S****** knows this, but due to her unreasonable nature, is trying to manipulate people into vying into her story (which changes with each review she posts)
It doesn't sound like me to say that I could "definitely win [your] case at trial." -- I don't talk like that to my clients. I probably indicated that based on the information I had, you had good chances to win. Then, 6 months later, after we conducted a full investigation of the facts, I learned that your case was untriable and unwinnable, probably because, since you were operating a motor vehicle under the influence, the state would be able to prove that you actually did it and we didn't have many strong defenses.
I am a man of worth -- and when I see that I cannot accomplish what you ask me to do -- win a completely unwinnable case -- I gave back all of your money and even did some free work for you, i.e. setting the bench warrant aside for your failure to come to court.
I hope you were able to get your case resolved with a new attorney and I appreciate you leaving this feedback for others to see that we handle our cases very seriously, as most of what you wrote does not sound like me -- it sounds like you have a personal vendetta against me as a person, so I wish you nothing but love in return. God Bless you.
Edit: I figured out who you were by digging in my records. Ms. Si*****, I refunded your money because I told you I could not win at trial. You ended up pleading guilty to the charge, taking it on appeal and losing the case, again, last year, on March 18, 2022. I did everything I could, and when I saw that you were an extremely unreasonable person, I fired you and refunded 100% of your money (because I did not need any more unreasonable behavior from you). We even continued to work for you free of charge, on multiple occasions, as you were looking for a new attorney to replace us. I see that nothing is enough for you, and I also see that you like to leave 1 star reviews, as evidenced by your Google profile. I wish you nothing but the best and good luck in your life endeavors.

Larry Forman blames an associate for the issues I had with his firm when he is the only one I worked with and spoke with regarding my case. So, this is untrue. My review of Larry Forman's law firm has been consistent, but I had to scale it down for the BBB website. Larry says that I was unreasonable, but he has offered no proof of this. Why would any attorney give a client a full refund if he did the job he was hired to do? Larry never worked for me for free. He agreed to get a bench warrant, which was issued, taken care of because of his miscommunication, and only if I agreed not to leave him a bad review. Larry Forman does what he can to manipulate his online reviews including having legitimate bad reviews removed, and all of his reviews are questionable. He currently has 147 Google reviews; 33 of those reviews are 5 stars with no reason why, several reviews are from people who work or have worked in his office, several reviews are from people who have never even done business with him, and numerous reviews are from people who have only left one review and that one review is for Larry Forman. Larry Forman lured me in with his online reviews, which are questionable, and lied to me just to get my money and now he is telling lies about me to cover up the fact that he is unscrupulous.
