Recently, my wife found a Facebook ad for a company called Environmental Air, to clean air ducts for $250. On March 24th two ***** males showed up in a white van and brought hoses into the house. They acted like they sprayed air into one of the vents but I could tell it didn't do anything. They offered to empty the dryer vent and although I didn't witness them doing it, I saw some lent on the grass. They offered to put a UV light on the furnace because they said we had mold so we agreed to for $1100. A few days later my wife was noticing moisture in our dryer so we figured the dryer went bad. We replaced it with a new dryer we bought from *****. After a few uses she noticed we were having the same issue with moisture in the dryer. I talked to a friend who works in HVAC and he said it's because the techs didn't get all the lent out and pushed the lent to the back of the vent, which causes moisture. After we took off the flexible duct from the dryer, there was a ton of water in it, which is unheard of. We have attempted to reach the company but the number just rings or disconnects you. I emailed the address on the invoice and the person that answered back was not professional at all so I'm sure this was a scam. I have video of the two techs and the van they were using and it comes back to ********** ******* There was also a magnetic sign on the side of the van but when I tried to call that number, it just hangs up on you. I called my bank to get details on who cashed the check and the name, **** ****** is the owner of the company but I have a feeling this person had a fake ID and it using the real owner's info because there's no way any of this is legit. Please help.
