    I paid $200 on July 1st to Guru Fitness, I felt pressured and forced to make the decision to sign the contract and the contract was not explained to me. My first day of classes would have been 07/08, I texted the instructor on 07/08 in the morning (class wasn't until 5:30pm) that I was not going to be able to attend, I was very candid in the fact that with my current mental state I would not be in a good position to start a program at this time and would like a refund. He denied my request and said I needed a 60 day cancellation in writing to be issued a refund however none of this was explained up front and I never attended any classes. Upon reading the contract the contract terms don't match what is being explained to me and none of the information is consistent. I have not attended classes and the contract is not being honored, I would like a refund. This company was not transparent in their businesses practices and did not go over the rules and contract with me prior to signing up. The approach was aggressive and forceful and I dont feel comfortable going to this gym I just want my money back. I never received the free trial I asked for and don't agree with their business model. I told him I'd contact BBB and he said go ahead. It's also been brough to my attention that he has discussed me with my boss that also attends this gym, I don't appreciate my personal fitness/health information being relayed to others when i've never attended a class!
