      So I took my truck in for a new tire, oil change, an alignment inspection. Dropped it off at Clark tire and appliance in Greenville, KY. I didn't hear anything for several hours I call back and talk to **** the manager. **** proceeded to tell me how lucky I am that I didn't die and "not to worry he was rebuilding my front suspension". I was shocked and ask him for a price quote, he then told me, " he's to busy to give me a quote". I was beyond furious when I got off the phone. I gave him authorization to do a oil change, change a tire, and an alignment inspection, and to let me know what he found. After our second conversation after he was performing work I never asked to be completed he never called me back with that quote. At 4:15 he called to tell me it's all done and my total is 828. When I arrived to pick up my truck and ask **** about this and both the lady at the desk and him both was very rude when I asked them what the deal was. When confronted about why he refused to give me a quote, and why he did work on my truck I didn't authorize him to do he said," well all that had to be done for you to get an alignment"! I asked him why he did unauthorized work on my truck and his response was it needed to be done. I would like a full or partial refund on the work performed without my knowledge and not even as much as an phone call with an estimate. This is unfair and bad business practices. I told them to check the alignment, put a tire on, and give me an oil change not to go and replace my ball joints and tyrod.

      IN REFERENCE TO COMPLAINT ID# *********

       

      *** ***** CAME IN ON 11/11/2022 FOR AN OIL CHANGE, TIRE CHANGE, AND ALIGNMENT.  CUSTOMER WAS NOT EVEN CHARGED FOR THE TIRE CHANGE THAT DAY.  WE PERFORMED A SYNTHETIC OIL CHANGE.  UPON INSPECTION OF THE VEHICLE AN ALIGNMENT COULD NOT BE PERFOMED WITHOUT NEW PARTS.  IT TOOK 4 HOURS TO COMPLETE THE REPAIRS ON THE VEHICLE.  CUSTOMERS PHONE NUMBER WAS RECORDED WHEN *** ***** DROPPED OFF THE VEHICLE WITH HIS REQUESTS.  *** ***** CALLED OUR SHOP AT 1:07PM AND AGAIN AT 3:16PM AT WHICH POINT THE CUSTOMER WAS INFORMED OF THE PARTS NEEDED IN ORDER TO ALIGN HIS VEHICLE.  THE REPAIRS WERE DIFFICULT TO PERFORM AS TO WHY IT TOOK 4 HOURS TO COMPLETE.  OUR SHOP MANAGER, **** *****, WOULD NEVER ORDER AND INSTALL PARTS FOR A VEHICLE WITHOUT CONSENT OF THE CUSTOMER.  WHEN *** ***** CAME IN TO PICK UP HIS VEHICLE, **** *****, THE SHOP MANAGER TOOK HIM PERSONALY OUT TO THE VEHICLE AND SHOWED HIM ALL OF THE PARTS AND REPAIRS THAT WERE MADE.  *** ***** WAS SATISFIED  WITH THE WORK THAT WAS DONE AND REALIZED HOW DANGEROUS HIS VEHICLE WAS WITHOUT THE REPAIRS.  WE HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS SINCE 1970 AND TAKE PRIDE IN TREATING OUR CUSTOMERS FAIRLY.  SEE ATTACHED CUSTOMER RECEIPT WITH A BREAKDOWN OF THE SERVICES AND PARTS.  ALSO ATTACHED CALL LOG.
