As part of an addition to my home, I had a new roof installed. After a few months or so, interior showed signs of leaks from roof in two separate locations. Vision came out twice to make repairs which were not successful. I have since been told by other roofing contractors that the installation of the roof by Vision was done improperly. All shingles were installed improperly and there is evidence that old shingles were left under new roof, which is a direct violation of original agreement.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.

    - Business did not provide any resolution.

    - Business lied about terms of contract, stating the terms of contract were for roof over existing. Contract clearly states "new roof."

-Business stated they would have been happy to work with me on fixing leaks. Business came out to house 4 times, twice for each leak. Each time assured me leak had been addressed.  Leaks were never addressed properly.

    Regards,

The work was done 7 years ago.  We performed the work according to the contract and his wishes.  Like we have for 25 years.  25 years, over 2000 customers and this is our first complaint to the BBB.  We have enjoyed a good relationship with the BBB and would like to continue that.

Good morning, *******, Not sure where to go from here but here is my position.  The work was done 7 years ago.  We performed the work according to the contract and his wishes.  Like we have for 25 years.  25 years,  over 2000 customers and this is our first complaint to the BBB.  We have enjoyed a good relationship with the BBB and would like to continue that.

Good morning *******,  I have not found any paperwork on the roof portion of the customers room addition project.  The customer has stated that the application
was to be a tear off.  My contention is that it was to be a nail-over application, and that is exactly what was agreed on.  The customer had no issue while we were
doing the nail-over for approx. 3 days.  Years later another roofing company stated to him that a tear-off would have been a better route.  I cannot be responsible
for a third party opinion 5-7 years after the fact. I will pay a visit to him.  I have dozens and dozens of jobs within a 2 mile radius of him.  It is in my community.
We are very proud of our reputation in this community.  With millions of dollars of work in this area,  we especially honor our word and warranty all of our work.
I will not relent to him concerning a request for a total refund.  That is ludicrous.  He is currently selling the house.  I am going to confront him.

The truth is a tremendous ally!   Sincerely,   Victor C****
