Festival was cancelled by government authorities. Promoter implemented a refund process that it then did not follow. The promoter strung ticket-holders along so that too much time elapsed to obtain credit card chargebacks. Numerous ticket holders have complained, some to BBB (these appear to be the only ones who have had any success in obtaining refunds). Promoter further pulled a bait-and-switch on the upgrade value for the tickets not being redeemed for refund. The promoter encouraged ticket holders to sell their tickets to third parties and then later stated the upgrade value would not be honored unless original ticket holder. This is fraud. They lied about the refunds, they lied about the upgrades, they knew they were lying. It is fraud. Festival promoter failed to refund ticket as stated. Refunded $25 when AT LEAST $99 (ticket face price) was due (I believe the promoter should also refund fees of $13.42 and $15 for a parking pass, for a total refund of $127.42, of which I received only $25. At a MINIMUM I am owed an additional $74 and really it should be an additional $102.42. It was the promoter's responsibility to have insurance coverage for the cancellation of its festival by governmental authorities and I should not have to simply eat the parking pass and ticketing fees. I wrote numerous times requesting my refund be provided and received ZERO replies. The reddit thread of others in the same situation is a tragedy. This promoter is absolutely unresponsive and a thief. I have had no success in resolving this issue with the promoter and need BBB assistance as this has been the only successful route for other ticket holders as well. Please help.
