      They are dishonest, they will take the structure you worked hard to pay even though they say they will accept a lower payment agreement they will repo the building or shed even if you make payments. They are thieves

      Hi Amber,
      I’m very sorry for the frustration this situation has caused. For transparency, here are the facts: according to Smart Pay Rentals (your rent-to-own company), your account was $716.63 past due. In June, Smart Pay worked with you to reduce your monthly payment from $214.43 to $134 under a signed payment arrangement that required payments to be made on time each month. Unfortunately, when a payment was missed, that agreement was voided under the terms of your contract. Smart Pay notified you multiple times before sending us a pickup order on August 20th, which we were obligated to fulfill.
      It’s important to note that Backyard World is not the rent-to-own company. We are solely the shed dealer. All contracts, billing, and collections are handled by Smart Pay Rentals, and repossessions are their decision. While we provide several financing options — including bank financing and same-as-cash promotions — the rent-to-own process is entirely managed by Smart Pay.
      We regret that this situation was upsetting, but we also believe it’s important to share the full context so that future customers understand what happened. For further questions about your account, we encourage you to contact Smart Pay Rentals directly.
