Never was a written or signed contract offered by them, even though that is what he indicated on his initial visit. - “Catch basin on both sides of back yard near the gate . Each basin will have discharge pipe.” $2,000 If you notice, it plainly states there will be catch basins installed on BOTH sides of the BACK yard. If you look at the pictures, you can clearly see that on one side the basin is installed, as agreed, in the back yard and is doing the jon it is supposed to do. On the other side, they DID NOT put the basin in the back yard but in the SIDE YARD, IN FRONT og the gate. The First picture , taken the morning after they finished, shows puddles of water gathered behind the gate, right up to where they installed the drain. THIS is the problem they were hired to fix in the first place ! Obviously, they shorcutted the job, not continuing the pipe and drain into the back yard, as they did on the other side. I refused to pay him on the day of service, letting him know I was not satisfied with the work. The next day he called and threatened my wife with legal action . She was scared into paying him for a job that was not done according to HIS contract, meaning 2 Basins in the back yard. At this point, he refuses to finish the job as agreed, and wants additional money , $1000 , to finish the job. First three picts are on Left side of hose, where the problrm is still evident . Next three pictures arr from Right side of house, where eork was done correctly and therr is no standing water issues .
