    We purchased our first **** Boat, a WC16, a small utility boat, from ********************* in 2018. We chose **** because it is a popular brand back in my home state and historically has had a good reputation. After using the boat for a total of 50 hours over the past three *******, one of the braces attaching the side hull to the seat, failed. Being an Engineer, I examined the other braces and found cracks in the brace on the opposite side of the center seat as well as in one of the braces on the back seat. At first glance, it appears as though the Aluminum braces cracked during manufacturing (bending) and then cycled to failure as the boat ran the waves on the lake.After seeing the failures, I contacted the Manager at the ***************** at ********************* right away and started working with him to order replacement braces from **** for both seats (4 locations). He said he'd cover them under warranty. A few months later, I received four braces but they were all too long, apparently the wrong part number. Long story short, I reached out to the Parts Manager again to order replacement braces and after a few months of working with him, I learned he had left the business. I then called ******* to find out who replaced him, and then started working with the new Parts Manager. He seemed very helpful at first. Over the coming 7 or 8 months, checked back with him often to check on the status. His comments were always the same, that I should expect them within the next 4-6 weeks but that he couldnt give me a firm date because of the disruption COVID had had on Lunds supply chain.A year after my first discussions with *******, I drove to their shop, about 70 minutes away, to talk with the Parts Manager in person. He was surprised, yet apologetic, and said he'd send **** an email right then, and then promised to call me back by the end of the day with an ETA. He never called back and then failed to return my calls over the coming weeks.I then reached out to both the Sales Leader and Operations Manager at **** HQ to share my frustration and disappointment with their Dealer and product. After their initial investigation, they told me that the parts had never been ordered by *******, but that they'd order them for me and should expect to receive them by May or June of 2021. I have still not received the parts nor has the Operations Manager returned my emails inquiring about the status. Another dead-end.I would not recommend ********************* to any of my friends or colleagues, nor would I recommend purchasing a **** boat because of the poor quality of this boat and their poor customer service.
