    Unfortunately, my car loan is through Southwest National Bank. When I first bought my car, it was extremely difficult to set up my online account. I had to put in a special request. Then it took multiple days to link my bank account so I could make my payment. Then, once that link was set up, I had to have them override the limit on the payment I could make; the initial limit was less than my car payment, so I couldn't make a full payment. At this point, my first payment was past due, so I got to pay a fee for this incompetence.

    Fast forward two years later, I updated my address using their (outdated and not intuitive) online profile system. But they are STILL sending me financial mail to an address I haven't lived at in 10 months, and said I didn't update my profile with my new address, and they didn't have it on file. Meanwhile, when I log into my online account, there is my new address, on file as it has been for the last 10 months. I sent them screenshots as proof that the address has been updated this whole time.

    Even if you are approved for a car loan here, find a different bank. It is nothing but inconvenience and poor customer service.

    Tristen N***** is nothing but a scam artist, I've provided my insurance to the dealership when buying the car and to the bank... he added insurance of the banks because "I didn't have insurance"... over the last few months I've had my insurance and myself have sent him documents showing dates of insured and he's still trying to say they don't have the documents they need... this bank needs sued, turned into a higher power for all of their scandalous games they play with customers.... people like him are the reason the nations in a bad place... DO NOT BANK HERE AND IF YOU DO RUN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

    I spoke with Meagan in person about a 2 month deferment on my vehicle as I was laid off. I was told not to worry about anything and they would not take my vehicle. As I promised 2 months later, I have a job and money to make a payment and called Tristan to make a payment. All I recieved was his voicemail and he refused to call me back and came and took my vehicle. I have spoken to his boss Miguel and they dont want my money and arent interested at all in resolving this. I write this review in hopes of not allowing other consumers to be lied to and loosing a major investment. Stay clear of this bank at all means and take your business elsewhere!

    In regard to your complaint, we would like to clarify that while an extension was discussed, we were told on two separate occasions that the required documents were unavailable. At some point communication stopped despite multiple attempts by collectors and officers, by text, email, and letters. Due to lack of communication, we were left with no choice but to enforce our lien and protect our collateral.

    I just spoke to Rachel and Christian from the Wichita, Kansas, Town East Branch and they’re lifesavers! They listened to my concern and immediately jumped into action to get everything resolved! Probably the easiest and caring reps I’ve spoken to this far with my history with Southwest!

    If i could give 0 stars i would.... I have had my car loan for 1 year, I have had automatic payments, I've never been late, I've never asked for anything. I am falling behind on some other bills due to the economy. I asked for a one month extension to assist me. They checked my credit- and denied my extension request. Very frustrating, and they are very judgmental. Pretty terrible customer service, and you don't even get to speak with the loan officer to plead your case. It's just a customer service rep. No empathy, no nothing. I have 3 other loans through a credit union that was delighted to assist me in an emergency extension. DONT GET A LOAN WITH THESE PEOPLE! THEY ARE UNHELPFUL AND JUST WANT THE MONEY!!! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU! IF YOU GO TO BUY A CAR- AND THIS IS THE BANK, JUST WALK AWAY FROM THE DEAL. Much better than being treated like trash for asking for an extension!

    I have been a customer for all of 2 months and my atm card has been locked twice for reasons completely unknown. This time it happened after buying a pickleball paddle. It wouldn't be such a big deal but it's Saturday afternoon and I have plans, but now I have to cancel them because I can't get any services after 1 pm, automated or otherwise to solve this issue. With only $12 dollars in my wallet, I can no longer do the things I planed on doing tonight or tomorrow or even Monday until I get off work and can go into a branch and fix this recurring problem. My advice if your looking for a bank that actually cares about it's customers and provides minimum service don't use Southwest National Bank.

    I just bought a new car and got Southwest National Bank through the dealership. I have never been so disappointed in a bank! I have tried for days to make a payment on my loan. I logged in as it shows to and created an account- not just as a guest. I entered my bank info and got a confirmation only to check two days later and the payment never came out. I called them and was transferred 6 times and on the last time I was told they would have to transfer me I hung up. I will be doing everything I can to get away from this bank! I would not recommend doing business with them if you do not have to!!
