NOTICE OF ACCOUNT CLOSING. As of Monday, July 22, 2013 the mPower Visa Prepaid Card program has closed and is no longer available for use. Any remaining positive balances will be refunded to cardholders in good standing in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Cardholder Agreement the last week of July 2013. Refund checks will be mailed to the cardholder name and address on file. Value loads cannot be made through Western Union®, Green Dot®, Visa ReadyLink or MoneyGram® effective Monday, July 15, 2013. After this date, funds can no longer be loaded onto the Card. Direct deposit loads such as payroll, tax refunds or benefits proceeds will also end on Monday, July 15th, 2013. Cardholders receiving re-occurring direct deposit loads should make arrangements to stop any re-occurring loads from posting to the mPower account as soon as possible. Please note that any re-occurring loads initiated on or after July 15, 2013 will be rejected with a notification that the account is closed and returned to the originator. Please contact your employer or benefits provider to make alternate arrangements for your funds.
