My 2004 *************** was serviced by this shop due to the fact that the clutch installed by them at an earlier date which was still under warranty was slipping. They returned my vehicle to me saying that they had replaced the clutch however when I got it back the clutch was still not working correctly. I took it back to them they said they fixed the issue and for a short time it did appear that the issue was corrected. Then one day while the part was still under warranty the pressure plate came loose and lodged itself in the flywheel making it extremely difficult to go into gear and very hard to drive. I took it back to them and they informed me that the engine was locked up and there was nothing they could do. I towed my vehicle home and use a breakover bar and dislodged the pressure plate and drove the vehicle back to their shop. After looking over the vehicle they decided that in order to replace the clutch, they would also need to replace my transmission because the synchronizers in my transmission had caused their clutch to go bad. I have consulted multiple different transmission repair shops in the area and all of them are of the same opinion that if my transmission synchronizers were bad they still would not cause the clutch to be faulty. However a faulty clutch would cause my synchronizers to go bad in my transmission. They have now finished the repairs on my vehicle and are trying to charge me something close to $*** for the used transmission they installed in my vehicle. I feel as though their faulty clutch is what caused my transmission to go bad to begin with and that I should not owe them anything as the clutch was under warranty and it was their bad part that caused the transmission to go out.
