In March of 2025 I contracted with Precision Tile and Remodeling LLC to renovate my bathroom. I paid $8,000 for this work. When the work was completed, I found that when I used my bathtub water came pouring out of the shower, making the bathtub unusable. I called them immediately.

They came back and informed me that a valve in the wall was installed incorrectly (it was installed upside down). They seemed to take responsibility for the problem. They said they would come back, cut the drywall, reinstall the part, and repair the drywall. This was in early April of 2025.

At that point, Precision became very difficult to reach. They kept saying that they were very busy, that they were working out of town, that they would call me, etc. This went on throughout the rest of April and May. On May 22, 2025, they emailed that they would let me know when they would be back in town, when they could do the work, etc.

After that, they never contacted me and they became unreachable. They would not answer calls or emails, though I've tried contacting them many times.

In July I finally contracted with a plumber (John Sanborn) who subcontracted with a drywall person (******** ********). They were able to fix the problem, which involved opening up the dry wall and installing a new valve correctly and redoing the drywall. All work was completed July 15, 2025.

I am seeking a refund of the money I had to pay to other contractors to fix what Precision should have taken care of: going through the drywall, installing the new part, etc. The parts and labor came to a total of $770.

I have copies of all receipts and contracts should you need them.

    Sincerely,

    BettyJo Mooney
