On 5/23/24, we received a $7,000 estimate from Pro Polyjacking for "polyjack the interior floor slab as much as structural integrity will allow. It has settled around the perimeter on all four sides. GPR Scannings showed numerous voids under the slab up to one foot in depth. We will polyjack the garage floor and realign the cracks as much as structural integrity will allow. Pryor to polyjacking, we will need to have the air ducts and utilities located under the floor. This project comes with a 5 year warranty."

On 9/20/24 verbal acceptance of the estimate was provided followed by an emailed confirmation to Pro Polyjacking with the following reminder: "*Please remember before and after photos to send with invoicing so payment can be processed."

On 9/27/24 we received an invoice. Our office followed up with an email on the 27th stating, "we cannot process payment without before and after photos. Please advise." We followed up again on the 30th with the same request.

On October 3, 2024 we received four photos from Pro Polyjacking that did not show completed work. We followed up with a request within 10 minutes of receipt stating "The work does not look complete here. We will take a look at the bid and invoicing and visit the job site and get back with you."

The response from Pro Polyjacking was "I think I’m just gonna turn everything over to my attorney". We responded offering to meet a representative at the property so that Pro Polyjacking could show or explain how the work was completed for payment. Pro Polyjacking refuses to meet at the property or provide any proof of $7,000 of foundation work. The only response provided is that they are calling their attorney. We have asked for the attorney's contact information in hopes of resolving the matter and have not been provided any information.

We are asking the BBB to intervene in hopes that Pro Polyjacking can prove work was completed as bid or confirm work was not completed and stop demand for payment.

These people ripped me off at $7000 as soon as I realized that I never got a signed contract for them. They made it very difficult for me to collect any money. I sent them pictures five times they had proof of work they even had people go by the job but as soon as they found out that I never got a signed contract, they ripped me off at $7000, they never paid me a penny for anything and I have over $3000 wrapped up in that project

This is absolutely and total nonsense I was there for five hours working on that house. I raised the floors 8” all the way around they are full of ****** and I am taking them to court. We are in the process of filing the lawsuit. We sent them before and after pictures, they are just looking for an excuse to not pay the bill. This is what these companies do. They take advantage of the small companies thinking that we won’t fight back they are completely full of *****

I have before, and after pictures that I will take to court!!

I am rejecting this response because: We asked multiple times for photos of the completed work. The only photos provided are the photos that were attached to the BBB complaint. One of the photos is of the living room carpet, another is the vinyl flooring in the kitchen and two are of the broken up concrete along the wall of the living room and bedroom in it's previous condition. None of the four photos provided show any completion of any polyjacking work.

We have asked for additional photos and were refused. We have asked to meet at the property and were refused. We have made visual inspections and confirmed with concrete professionals that no polyjacking was done and the foundation remains in the condition it was previously. There is no evidence of polyjacking.

We are happy to meet ProPolyjacking at the site if they feel they can show where they completed work. We are happy to review any photos that show that they completed polyjacking work. The areas previously photographed are in the same condition they were prior to ProPolyjacking stating they had completed $7,000 worth of work.

We are not avoiding paying a bill, we just can't pay for work that wasn't done. In email correspondence provided previously, ProPolyjacking stated they weren't able to complete all of the work, but refused to identify what they claim was done and not done.

We pulled back the carpet and took photos of the current condition of the foundation. No change. No evidence of polyjacking. Attached photos

    Sincerely,

At 12:00 pm on March 30th, ****** ****** with Pro polyjacking met me to discuss the cost to raise our steps to our front porch and the sidewalk up to the steps. He then talked to me about adding the driveway against the house as well. During our discussion, I specifically asked about the sidewalk and showed him where water pools up because of the grade or slope of the sidewalk. I asked him multiple times for assurance that they would be able to lift this portion of the sidewalk to create a grade away from the house. He told me that they would take care of it and it wouldn’t be a problem.
Under these circumstances I agreed to the $1,300.00 cost for all three areas.
Upon completion (Wednesday, April 5) the sidewalk is still sloped towards the house and the work is not completed to the point we agreed on.
On Friday, April 7th I called and left a message with the person that did the work (he had text me earlier to let me know he was on his way) to explain my concerns. He returned my call at 5:45 pm that day. He told me he was the owner at that time. I discussed with him that the result of his work was not what was agreed upon. He was very aggressive, threatening and condescending during this interaction. I wasn’t asking for anything other than what we agreed upon. He then insults me by saying “clearly you can’t afford it and that is what this is really about.” Never did I mention I would not pay or could not pay. He then tells me to pay whatever I think is fair. I told him I just want it done right and he continued on about me not being able to pay. He then told me not to pay and that “nobody is going to come after me-if you’re not happy, don’t pay, I don’t care!” Again, I never asked for anything for free. I said “ok, thanks.” And he hung up.
Minutes later he text me saying “we will file a lien against your house.” I replied “I thought you said I can pay what I want, which is it? He avoids the question and proceeds to tell me that he has sent it to his attorney.

Everyone was happy with the work done, but once we were done, the customer complained about the price. We gave him a discount of almost half.

After the complaint was filed, we reached out to the customer and he claimed he was happy with the work done.

I was stern with the customer, but that was because my work was perfect, and I even did extra work for him for free.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:I never complained about the price. I was concerned about the work and that I still have a sidewalk that slopes towards the house and collects water. I am not satisfied with the work and no effort was made to listen to my concerns or to make it right. I appreciate the discount and happily paid so we can move on from this. The reply that I have received via the BBB is not accurate.

Hi-  This is ****** with Pro Polyjacking. I think the previous response was from *** in verbal form.

*** was not happy with the results of the work. All attempts were made to meet the expectations of the contract. To try to come to a compromise, we offered that he pay for materials only. He paid right away as soon as we sent the invoice for materials.

In my opinion, *** was very respectful and I understand that he was not happy with the results. And I apologize for any disconcert between *** and ***.
