    We stayed in Room *** at the Holiday inn Express ** ******** on March **, 2023 and checked out on the 26th. We were staying there for my daughter’s first ever solo dance competition. It was a King Suite with a pull out sofa bed. The mattress to the sofa bed was covered in BLOOD. I first called the front desk who could only offer me more bedding to put over it bc they were sold out. I asked if she would sleep on blood and she did not answer, I asked her to talk to her manager about it. Come to find out, after my husband took a picture down to her, that we found out the manager came in at 11p. We had to get my kids to bed bc of the competition we had to get up for at 5am. The best the manager, Archana ***** *****, could do after 2 more interactions with them the next morning, is discount our room $**. My husband ended up having to sleep on the floor and my kids did not sleep well because of seeing the big blood stain. Needless to say, I didn’t either. It was such a Big day for us Sunday. My husband took the mattress down to the front office, bc when asked if they were going to remove the mattress from the room she did NOT say yes. I called the next day to talk with the manager and I spoke with Ashley who not once said sorry for what had happened. She did say the manager worked at 11p-7a and I could email her. I told both front desk receptionists from Sunday and Monday I was reporting them and the manager to the BBB. I feel like we should not have been charged the $****** after all we went through and if this would have been handled properly with courteous customer service, I would not be filling this complaint.
