  PLEASE PLEASE beware and get OTHER quotes. I was misled by grossly overpaying for a single window. They use predatory and deceptive sales tactics. I was made to pay $6300 for a window and another company just left my house quoting me $1500 installed for nearly the same exact window. Which I have subsequently learned is a really good price, but still fair market value. The other company included all 5 of my basement windows and it was still $5300. So 1000 less than I paid Anderson for one window. I’m not usually emotional with strangers, but I couldn’t help but cry in front of him because it was so shocking and devastating to realize that I had been swindled, but also that $6300 is such a huge amount of money for me and I work incredibly hard to earn my money, and I could have saved so much. My Anderson salesman used what I now know as the “bait and switch” and said that I could only get their “special deal” while he was there and that it was a “limited time offer” and I wouldn’t be allowed to think about it, shop around, or take time to get other quotes. He was in my house for probably 3 hours. I also wasn’t shown that I would have to remove the window from the wall entirely and put it on the floor to clean it. I am strong, but a small framed, single woman, and had to get assistance just to clean my own windows which I never would have agreed to. I thought my new quote, that I received today, would be lower, but when I realized how badly I had been taken advantage of, it was a crushing blow. I blame myself for being naive, but I wonder how my salesman can sleep at night. I also have difficulty understanding how this company has an A+ rating. It can’t just be me who has been treated so poorly by Renewal by Andersen. I have told my story to a few close friends and two of them said…Anderson? Before I even got it out. . I DO NOT recommend using them unless you have money to burn.

While our pricing may be higher than some other providers, it reflects the unique value of our products, installation, and service.
  Renewal by Andersen windows are custom-built for each home and manufactured using our exclusive Fibrex® composite material, which is designed to be stronger, more durable, and more energy-efficient than vinyl or aluminum windows. Our pricing also includes professional installation by factory-certified crews, as well as one of the strongest warranties in the industry—covering product, installation, and even labor. Many lower-priced quotes do not include these factors and may involve different materials, limited warranties, or substandard installation.
  We recognize that other companies may advertise or provide quotes at significantly lower prices; however, those quotes often represent commodity-level products that are not directly comparable to Renewal by Andersen’s offering. Our customers choose us because they want a lasting solution backed by a national company, not just the lowest initial cost.
  That said, we regret that Ms. *** feels dissatisfied with her experience, and we welcome the chance to discuss this further.   I would make this a -5. After installation and paint, it took them 20 more visits to complete the job between Oct 15 and Jan 15. Very disappointed with the project managers- we had 5. ***** asking to speak to an upper manager went to a dead end voicemail. The manager still owes us a coupon he promised to send. Wrong parts were sent out, parts were not brought when promised, parts were not correctly installed, calls were not made. The project was mismanaged the whole way. We were replacing 20 windows and a patio door. Just a horrible experience.
