    HAD OUR ROOF REPLACED IN DECEMBER 2012
    THE DAVINCI SIMULATED SLATE SHINGLES CAME WITH A 50 YEAR WARRANTY

    We had a DaVinci Roofscapes Bellaforte Slate roof installed in 2020. We are experiencing extensive cracking of the roofing tiles. We contacted our roofing installer who told us to file a warranty claim with the manufacturer, Westlake DaVinci Roofscapes. We filed this and it was denied. We were told the cracking was cosmetic and would not cause leaking but could worsen. We have since learned that this particular shingle was discontinued. It was the only shingle with the problematic cracking tabs. We have also learned that this has been an issue and other claims have been filed against them and accepted for replacement. We feel the company is not standing behind their product or honoring their warranty.
