    I had an agreement with **** to help remodel a home I just purchased inside and out. I paid him with 10k upfront for materials when he started to pressure me for full funds as he stated the way I was paying through the Square app was putting a hold on the money. I have paid him in full a total of 51,500. At first he was calling me daily to ask for more money for materials and labor costs, now I haven’t heard from him in weeks. His son stated he was having mental health issues and he would be taking over the project to ensure its completion (****). The project was supposed to be completely finished 9/21. I was not able to move in on the 21st and had to pay extra for movers to keep my belongings as there was no where to put anything due to construction debris and unfinished flooring. The outside of the house has not been started, the inside of the home has not been finished. The counters need to be fixed as they are sitting off the cabinets and could crack, the bathroom walls were damaged putting in vanity tops, paint wasn’t touched up, trim not installed in the master, hardware for closet doors and curtain rods were thrown away and not re-installed, ceiling fan light cover broken and not replaced, light broken in bedroom and not replaced, doorbell chime missing, threw away the attic fan cover, flooring was not fixed in an upstairs bathroom, lights were left hanging out of the ceiling. The back patio was not raised, chimney not sealed, siding/gutters weren’t installed, no paint to the exterior, brick not fixed in the front, trim not replaced, the basement cracks were not sealed. They did not install a privacy fence which I ended up hiring another person to do. I had given him an extra 1500 to have his uncle relocate sprinkler heads which also has not been done. I’ve made numerous attempts to contact **** and his son **** with no response. I offered to let them finish the project or return the money and they do not respond.
