    I received a letter to get a copy of my LLC certificate after it was newly formed in 2025 from KS Corporate Certificates. I paid them $75 via check which posted on 3-19-25. Months later, I still hadn't received the certificate so I called ###-###-####. It is a tricky system to get through on, but after several attempts and some patience, I finally was able to speak with someone and let them know about my problem. The whole thing seemed pretty shady, so I just asked for a refund. The lady I talked to said she wasn't seeing anything on there end, but I have a bank statement showing the posted check. She said she would look into it and get back to me. Several more months passed without out anything, so I called again. Again, it was terribly difficult and involved a lot of patience to get through, but I did eventually speak to someone. He had all my information including phone, email, and address. He said he would put in a request for a refund, and I asked if he could email me some sort of verification of what we had discussed and that he was putting in for a refund, and he replied that he was just an answering service and could not do that, but that he would request that correspondence. I still haven't heard anything back. It sure feels like a big scam.

    We opened an LLC.

    They sent us a very "official" looking letter requiring $75.00 to obtain this "mandatory" certificate

    It was all a scam.

    Someone needs to do some vigilante work on these thieves !

    The Broken, ugly, "justice department" of the USA really SUCKS

    It is all part of the Chastisement due to bad ********* for the last 500 years.

    Sadly, Government is not helping us to do any justice to thieves.

    Check written for $75 to obtain a hard copy of "certificate of good standing" for business. This certificate is not necessary to be in business as an LLC. More importantly we did NOT receive the certificate.

    I received a letter from KS Corporate Certificates with a Certificate of Good Standing request form. I needed this form in order to open a bank account for my business. Before completing the form, I called KS Corporate Certificates and asked if there was a way that I could request a Certificate of Good Standing online. They informed me that there was no way to do this online (I later found out this is not true, and a Certificate of Good Standing can be obtained online for only $10, which is obviously much less than the $75 they charge.) I stated that I needed this certificate as soon as possible, and they told me that it would take up to 2 weeks to receive the certificate from them. I proceeded to fill out the form, and mailed it to them on 8/10/23, along with a check for $75. After waiting nearly a month, I still had not received my certificate. I called them on 9/7/23 to request a refund. They were quick to grant a refund and said they would send it immediately. I have still not received a refund, and it has now been more than 7 months!! I have called them repeatedly (on 9/20/23, 10/24/23, 12/11/23, and 3/25/24) and a representative always tells me that there is nothing more they can do. The representative whom I spoke to on 12/11/23 told me their records showed that a refund had been issued on 11/8/23. Again, I have never received anything. I have also emailed the company, and I received no response. I am incredibly frustrated and feel like I have been scammed!
