Home Team Properties-****** **** **** ** ** **** ***** ** *********************** to look at the cement problem I had with my foundation on the North end of my house. He assured me that he and his team would take care of the problem. That was approx. late August , he also came to my previous residence at *** ******** *** *********** in July, or August with *** ******** who worked for ******. I wanted to show him my home, which I loved. I had sold my home in June, and I wanted him and his team to see the type of workmanship I expected. He assured me there would be no problems and that his work was better than the house I was showing him I moved to my present address the end of July. He said they could start on the house In August. *** ******** brought me the contract to sign, and ****** needed $50,000.00 . ****** was not at my home to witness the signing of contract, or to answer any questions. On 7-14-22****** came to my home to talk to the man that was here from Thrasher Foundation in Wichita,Ks. I wanted to get another opinion from him before deciding to have Home Team do the job.. ****** and this gentleman didn't agree on how to fix foundation. This foundation was fixed by Kansas Basement and Foundation in 9-22-16 after we found out there was damage from previous owner. We closed on this property 7-26-16. Then on 7-29-16 When my daughter was moving in she found an estimate of foundation to fix. We went back on property owner. ****** told me the guy who was going to do the work was the best foundation man in southeast Kansas. His name is **** ******* **** ************** ************ . And ****** would stand behind him. So Nick did the work. Then the next thing I found out that ****** had moved out to California to work as a PA . ****** said they would begin work before Thanksgiving, they didn't start work until after the new year. I found out that *** ******** had been fired, and that Tre Nash, of Nash Construction and his crew was going to do the work. The problems started, you never knew when they was going to be here to work. Never on a schedule. Often after leaving for lunch you wouldn't see them until they showed up. Very rude, didn't pick up trash, made messes. Tre was in and out. I notice the workmanship was substandard, and I mean substandard. I would say something to the crew or to Tre and they would look at me. They didn't put down plastic to protect my house. The work went very slow. I would have to call Tre to see when they were going to be here. The workmanship was poor, and I would tell them, and they would do nothing about it . Then the 1st part of June 2023 I noticed cracks on my tile in the master bathroom. Of course there was fault finding. ****** told me that he told me not to put tile down in the bathroom, that I needed to put laminated flooring. I told ****** that new homes are built every day and they put down tile. Of course you don't tell ****** anything.The first part of June Tre told me to call Thrasher to give us a quote on the tile. ****** was mad that Thrasher was here. So on 6-6-23 ****** calle me and said he was no longer going to work for me. There was nics in my doors, you could see brush strokes on everything they painted. Doors wouldn't fit, you could see daylight. Bench in closet in master bedroom had a chunk of wood out of it. Tre didn't care about the job he was going to Las Vega for bachelor party. Getting married in May was going to Cobal San Lucas for honeymoon and staying in condo that ****** owned. ****** had been paid all of his 148,800 dollars and the work was suppose to be completed in 120 days per contract. 120 days from when? Starting in November of 2023 and still not done in June 2024! The crew was messy, when pouring concrete on the driveway into garage has concrete thrown all over utility room door. ****** never called to see how the job was going, and Tre said he never called him. ****** was very rude, and demeaning to me. I told him I was 71 yrs. old and my computer skills were not good. He told me that was not his problem and maybe I need to get into 21st century! I was giving him business, and paid him what was agreed upon. He was arrogant and demeaning. I feel like he verbally abused me as an elder. Very demeaning and hateful. Threatened me that if he received so much as a piece of paper, or anything from an attorney, he would strike back, and I wouldn' like it. That is when I thought that I no longer wanted to be in business with him. I do have over $150.00 in pictures of the mess his crew left me in. You can have copies of them. The people in Chanute should not have to take the abusive behavior he displayed. I took him by his word that he would do a good job. The people of Chanute should not have to be treated by a so-called Contractor the way he treated me. I didn't know what to do about this. I called the City Manager in Chanute,Ks. also talked to Asst. City manager. They both told me that the Lincense for Contractor, and Plummer, and Electrician.Was not issued by the city, but by the state I called the State they do not issue licenses for this! But the City Manager told me that he has 3-4 people whocomes into his office weekly. He told me I would have to seek Legal Council.I have also found out that these Contractors, Plummers, and Electrician has to obtain a permit to be able to do the work. That sure does not protect the consumers, or the people like me that gets taken advantage of. I have called Nick Robbins so many times about the garage, there is chunks of cement missing. He assured me he would be out here when he had the time, and this was in summer of 2023, well it has been several months ago since he was made aware of the problem. He became angry because I called him so much. He has been paid from ******, the people that did work was subcontracted. ****** **** *** ***** ** ***********
