    In early May 2023, Bob with Bobs Fence Company came out to give me an estimate on a wrought iron fence for my backyard.
    I walked around the house with him, explained to him what I wanted, while he measured. We have a very large open field behind our house so we needed a fence so our dog could play outside.
    On May 24, Bob sent me the quote stating that a 5 foot tall wrought iron fence with two gates would be X dollars with materials and labor. I said yes we want to do it and to put us on your books and he said he would do that.
    On June 2, I sent Bob a text just asking if he had an estimated date for our fence and he responded that it would probably be three weeks out and that was the only time I contacted him.
    On June 28, Bob had called for the utilities to be marked and they came out to do that. An hour later, Bob called me and told me that he would be out on Friday to install the fence.
    On June 29, Bob called me stating that he had made a big mistake with the quote. He kept stating that it was his mistake, and that he would not be doing the fence for that, then proceeded to say that he realized it didn’t appear to be on the up and up on his side, and understood if we didn’t want to do it. I told him that I would need to speak to my husband and we would let him know. When my husband called him to figure out what was going on, Bob became very hostile, saying that he was never going to come out and finish our fence and that we were taking advantage of him and that he didn’t realize we had wanted a back to our fence!!! What ? And his quote stated that his bid was for a complete fence with two gates. He stated once again that he would not be out to install our fence that was supposed to be installed in less than 24 hours after waiting a month on his schedule.
    Save your time, do not hire this person to do any work for you. Even if he would’ve offered, I don’t want this person at my house, because the way he was acting was frightening.
