      Called last week to get a free quote for my car for interior trim/oil leak. They stated to come in on Monday 12/02/2024. Never said it would cost anything for a quote. showed up and the person who took the vehicle said that a bunch of employees called in sick so they didnt even want to take the car. Again, was not told it would cost anything. After getting the quote and going to pick the vehicle up, they ended up charging over $400! No one would pay $400 for a quote. Can not afford to pay it and now they wont give us back the vehicle until we pay. I am 9 weeks pregnant and now cant even go to my weekly doctor appointments. I told them to pull the phone log and listen to the call about the quote. Take your vehicle elsewhere and beware. Receptionist said "we dont know anywhere in the state of Kansas that will do a free quote". Ironically, on my own car that I take to The Shop in Augusta they give free quotes (as does everywhere else). Best they said they could do is take $100 off for the “quote” I should have took the extra drive. Both their site and companion site state free inspection.

      On 12/2/2024 ********* ******** dropped off her car off to have us look at the front seatbelt that was not working, plastic door trim on the passenger side door, and comprehensive inspection. At the time of intake the cost of diagnosing the issues was clearly covered with her. I have attached the workorder with her signature giving us authorization complete the diagnoses that includes pricing. The customer never provided us with the coupon she listed in this complaint. After inspection we found that the vehicle had been in a wreck and the pre tensioners for both front seat belts had deployed leaving them inoperable. We recommended that it be replaced and the system retested. This is a safety Item and the car was/is unsafe to drive without a working seat belt. I have attached notes from my Master Tech for the door trim it is as follows - When opening rear side passenger can tell that the rubber molding does not want to stay on the body seam because of a lot of body filler buildup from repairs from an obvious wreck the car will need the rubber molding seal and lower plastic trim that was in trunk which has broken tabs off of it and will no longer stay in correct position. Tech recommended replacing the door molding /seal remove and replace and replace plastic lower right rear trim at floor. The comprehensive inspection reveled a long list of needed repairs. At this time the customer declined any repairs and refused to pay her bill then accused us of with holding her vehicle. We decided to not charge her anything for services rendered. I have attached the second repair order that had been price adjusted to $0.00 and signed by her again at the time she collected her car. She was hateful/disrespectful to my staff to a level I don't feel comfortable putting into writing. At the end of the day her car is unsafe to drive due to the previous wreck and any services rendered were free of charge.

      Husband took our truck into Myers to have the air conditioner charged in our truck on May 7, 2024. They charged it, and when we were leaving the shop, the AC still wasn't working, was charged $261.71. Turned around and they checked it out and said that the orphus tube was plugged and needed a new orphus tube, flush and recharge and needed a new relay. Paid for that to be done to fix it again, $198.14 more, got it back and it still wasn't working. Went back and now they are saying I have to pay for a diagnosis??? I called another shop told them what was happening, they new exactly what was wrong, they said that the compressor was going out and that replacing that orphus tube, flushing and recharging was all a waste of money. That needs to be done after the compressor is replaced.

      My car was in this shop for over a month,this august 2023. They repaired the ignition problem. But when I went to pick up my auto on,9/6/33 the horn does not work and the steering wheel is not turning properly. They fixed the steering wheel, and now the horn does not work!! It worked fine before I brought the car in for repairs. Now they refuse to repair what they broke, the horn was working fine in the beginning. They are blaming the horn on other things. I want my horn to be repaired!!
