I am currently attending ****** University global. I started in it in August of 2022 and everything looked as if it was going well, as if the school was credible and as if this was where I wanted to obtain my associate's degree in legal studies. As of 6 months into my program that's 2 terms with the online University. I've now paid about $2000 out of pocket because they have claimed I have maxed out my student loans available and I'm not eligible to receive a pell Grant **** was not made aware to me at any point when I signed up to attend the school. I did make it well known that I am in financial hardship and will need financial aid and loans to obtain this degree they told me that was perfectly fine and that I should not see any problems or need to pay anything out of pocket. That is not the case. At the end of every term they Stop access to my course work until I pay them about $930. The only way that I'm made aware that I will owe them this fee is a month before the fee is due on the campus finatial documents page with no notification of the the recieving of the statement. Up until then they tell me that I owe no money and when I speak with financial aid they offer no options besides receiving personal student loans and when you go to acquire a personal student loan many of the agencies do not provide funding for Purdue University global students which is alarming. I highly recommend obtaining your degree somewhere else for any future students looking to receive a degree through online education.
