    I bought a vehicle from a dealership. Not even 45 days later the engine blew. I dont believe that this is right that the dealership will not help us with anything when we bought a $20,000 vehicle from them.

    We are happy to take a look at the vehicle to diagnose the problem, and assist the customer if possible.  This was a pre-owned vehicle with ******* miles at the time of purchase.  A vehicle service contract was offered, but the customer declined and purchased the vehicle  "As Is".  Again we will help as much as we can, but the customer is ultimately responsible the on-going maintenance and repairs to their vehicle.

     I am rejecting this response because:

    This is not regular maintenance. I do not need a diagnosis. The engine needs replaced. When I was offered the extended warranty they could not exactly tell me what is and is not covered so of course I declined. I do not trust your dealership and have no reason to trust it. I would be okay with another certified Chevrolet dealership doing the repairs and the business assisting with the cost. It seems you are in the business of ripping people off because of the reviews left on your ******** page!

    We have in good faith offered to work with the customer.  If the customer continues to refuse to work with us, then there is nothing we can do.  They purchased a high mileage pre-owned vehicle on an "AS-IS" basis.

    I PUT IN A COMPLAINT SOME TIME AGO IT WAS DUE TO A TRUCK I BOUT IN 2023 AND THE ***** MAN.     10/31/2023 Lakeside Chevrolet ********** *******. We purchased a 2018 GMC Acadia aprox $25,000. We were told we would receive title paperwork in the mail within a few weeks. Fast forward we started calling after 3.5 weeks was told issue with BMV. Now on 12/14 no paper work multiple x 10 calls we were told there was a lien on title and unable to get plates. So now paying a car payment on a vehicle we are unable to drive and plate

    We have been working with the customer on this.  The customer has been in a free demo vehicle since 12/15/2023. 

    We purchased the vehicle on 9/7/2023 from an independent party.  We received clean and clear title at the that time of purchase.  ******************** purchased on 10/31/2023.  My title clerk processed the paperwork with the *** on 11/8/2023 and it rejected on 11/09/2023 due to a more current title being issued.  We applied for duplicate title on 11/13/2023. 

    After not receiving the duplicate we inquired to the *** on 12/6/2023 and learned that a ********** of ******* (***) lien was placed on the title and it needed to be paid off before title could be replaced.  We reached out to the person we purchased from and he said he would pay off the lien.  After he failed to do so, we paid off the lien with overnight check on 12/18/2023. As of 12/22/2023 the *** confirmed receipt of check and we are now waiting for the title.

    These situations happen from time to time, and while I understand the customers frustration, we are doing everything we possible can to resolve and ensure the customer has a vehicle to drive while theirs is undrivable due to the title issue.

    I purchased a 2018 ***** silverado from this dealer. They said it had gone threw there FULL safty inspection. I test drove the vehicle and seen the radio screen did not work and they agreed to fix it. But due to a short and intown test ride i did not notice that the engine mount was loose. After purchasing the truck and in my way home i noticed the loose mount. They told me to bring it in on Monday due to it being Saturday and service could not look at it until Monday. When i took them the truck on Monday they confirmed that the motor mount was in fact loose. But told me they would not fix it unless i paid full cost of it. I understand i test drove the vehicle, but i also trusted they did a full check of the vehicle like they told me.

    A few months ago, I had some warranty work done to my vehicle. I was told that the time frame to complete the job would only be about a week or so. The dealership had my vehicle much longer than we were told and initially we were told there were no loaners available and that we would have to get a rental vehicle. When the vehicle was purchased, we were told that the dealership had loaner vehicles and that if we ever were to bring the vehicle in for service, we would be able to get a loaner. When the dealership finally obtained a loaner the last time, I was told that it would be there at a certain time but the vehicle was not and I had to wait at the dealership until the loaner arrived. I have had to deal with the service writer named **** (or *****) over the phone who has been rude and very unprofessional in her demeanor. I called again today (4/28/2023) in regards to possibly bringing the vehicle in for service and was told that the dealership no longer had any loaners and could not provide a rental vehicle either. I also spoke with the General Manager **** at the dealership and he basically told me the same thing and that there was nothing they could do about loaners due to an "inventory shortage" at this time. The vehicle is doing the same thing that it was doing when it was originally brought in for service in November/December of 2022.

It is true that with inventory shortages we do not currently have loaner vehicles available.  However the first thing we need is to get your vehicle in to diagnose what is going on.  I understand when you called in late last week you were upset with the time frame.  Again, I understand your frustration, but we have other customers with appointment that we must fulfill.  Please call our service department and we can attempt to get you scheduled as soon as possible.

     I am rejecting this response because:  I was not upset about only the timeframe for your team to look at the issue with my vehicle.  I am not happy with the lack of professionalism on the part of your service writer and I am not happy about the past timeframe that it took to get my vehicle completed the last time.  I have already made arrangements with another dealership to look at my vehicle and who can provide me with a loaner while they look at my vehicle.  Your company should be making efforts to ensure that you have loaners as we were told when the vehicle was purchased.  I have worked with other dealerships on my other vehicles and they seemed to have had plenty of loaner vehicles available when needed.  I will honestly never recommend Lakeside ***** to anybody in the future due to the lack of professionalism that we have experienced in the past few months with the service writer that we have worked with.

    Test drove a 2013 ********************* on Wednesday 03/08/23, was told the mechanic has completed the vehicle/engine inspection and no mechanical issues were found. but they needed to complete the detail cleaning, we purchased the vehicle and request to pick car up on Saturday 03/11/23, and my Spouse put $4990 down on vehicle and financed $4209. Daughter picked up car on Saturday 03/11/23 in the morning, 35 minutes into the drive home, daughter calls father and states car is overheating,, *** immediately calls Lakeside and speaks with ******* (sales) and was told no services are in on Saturday,Pat let her know that we will bring car back on Monday 03/13/23, she agreed, Daughter states after making it home car had a funny smell, check vehicle and coolant was low, checked engine oil and noted to have a milky brown color on the oil cap, after doing some research and found out that oil will change that color if coolant is leaking into your oil, which could be head gasket., but we thought maybe they missed refilling the coolant, On Sunday Pat refills coolant, daughter drove car for 20 minutes and call father again from the side of the road stating that car has overheating warning lights alarming. *** meets daughter 7 minutes away from home to recheck car, Coolant chamber was empty and car was overheating *** refills coolant to get the rest of the way home, after arriving home 3/4 of what he put in it was gone and overheating lights alarmed rest of the way home. This business is an hour and 15 minutes away from us so to get it back to them i don't even know how we will do that, I will be contacting them this Monday 03/13/23 to see if they will cancel the financing and return the down payment and take this car back.We purchased this car "as is" and did not purchase a warranty, however we cant drive this car they even charged a fee of $1,195 for a Prep and Acquisition fee. Going to call tomorrow morning to find out if they will take this vehicle back and void the sale.

    On October 8, 2022. I, *********************** paid in full of $22,341.01 for a ******************************************************** from LakeSide Chevrolet ******. By the title clerk I was initially stated my title would arrive through the mail to my house. It was a week before my temporary plates expired, I called directly to the title clerk at their main office in **********, IN to receive an update on the whereabouts for my title and I was told there was issues with the state but it would be resolved before my temp plates expired and would call back. A couple of days passed and I was not called back. On Monday 21, 2022, two days before my temp plates expired. I called the title clerk at ************** location to see what are my options are before my temp plates and was stated that she would call the ****** location for for a solution. She called back within 15 minutes and told to pick up my extension plates. I drive to the dealer to pick up the extension plates and no one at the ****** location knew nothing about the situation. I was also told the title clerk at ************** location ,*****************************, has not been in the office for weeks. The solution i was given to go to the *** and provide my Social Security number and my car would be registered. I arrive at the *** and provide the information I have and a title has never been issued. As of today 11-22-2022 will have to park the vehicle since it is no longer legal to drive on the road since my 45 days of the temporary plates have expired. Lakeside ****** have not held up their part of the deal and has not completed the transaction. I have been lied to by the title clerks because they stated they have not talked to each other even though the title clerk at ************** located stated via phone that she has been emailing *************** between the people at the ****** but did not know about the situation when I spoke to them. All I want is the transaction to be completed and to have the title on hand.

    This situation has been resolved.  ****************** purchased a used vehicle which we had acquired via trade-in from another customer. The customer who traded in the vehicle ****************** purchased had lost the title and had to submit for a replacement title in ********.  The title was reproduced on 11/14/2022, but under ******** rules was mailed to the former owner, and then from him to us.  We received the title in our offices on December 3, 2022.  We overnighted the title ****************** on 11/3/2022.
