Here is the remainder of the situation that I encountered when dealing with the Salvation Army Kroc Center:

When I got home, I looked at the receipt again.  Then..I remembered that the $15.00 credit was for membership hold payment for February, March, and April. Therefore, my next payment was due in May as ******** stated on her last day of employment.   Themba was the person I spoke to when I went to the Kroc that day.  The next week I called the front desk to let him know that I remembered why the credit was there.
****** said he would speak to his supervisor, and  hopefully I will be allowed to pay $10.00 for two more months hold on my membership.
The supervisor decided that what ******** stated was no longer valid.  Therefore, I would have to pay the regular $17.50 membership fee.  I repeated to Themba what ******** had told me.  He said he would speak to his supervisor again and get back to me.  I never heard from him again, even though I left messages on his voicemail for the last two weeks.  Just  for the records *************************** is no longer employed at the Kroc Center.

I was awarded a Scholarship by the Salvation Army Kroc Center for one year beginning last fall. In January 2023 I paid the regular scholarship monthly price of $17.50. I also paid for three months to have my scholarship on hold. The cost for those three months was $15.00. I have attached the receipt that shows the $17.50, and $15.00 credit that I paid in person. I paid the money to *************************; *************************** was also a witness to this transaction. These two individuals are no longer employed at the Kroc Center. The three of ** agreed that my next payment was due in **** I spoke to ******** on her last day of employment, April 28th. ******** did not inform me that it was her last day of employment. I asked her when I was required to pay to have another hold placed on my account for **** I also asked her if I would be allowed to do this transaction via phone. ******** replied that I had to come in person and there were papers that I needed to sign. I was informed by her that this was to be done by May 10th. I came to the Kroc Center to keep my end of the bargain before the 10th of **** Please forgive me for not remembering the date. Its all downhill from here.I had to stop driving in February 2022. On the day that I came to the Kroc Center, I took FOUR Transpo buses, TWO buses each way. At age 79, I always walk with a cane. I was informed that ********* last day was April 28th. We looked at my records and the only receipt that was recorded was the one for ******** It did have the $15.00 credit. The front desk people were very accommodating. They had no idea what I was trying to explain regarding what ******** had stated to me. Of course, there were no notes on my receipt to document my transaction. I just left and took two more buses home. I will email the remainder of this situation to the email address that *********************** kindly supplied.
