    They put in nice new garage door. But they scratched up the existing metal trim around door where the key pad goes. Now they are saying they didnt do it blowing me off. It wasnt there before installation but they refuse to address it. Other than supervisor saying they didnt do it couldnt happen. I will file in small claims if I get know results!

    This customer's ********************** door was installed on August 15, 2024.
    Customer called August 20, 2024 after noticing small scratches on his window trim. Technician was sent back out get a photo. 
    New window inserts were ordered and replaced on Sept 27, 2024. New window trim was ordered on October 1, 2024.
    2 Techs were sent back out to replace the window trim on the door on November 7, 2024.
    No reports of damaged metal trim was brought to our attention, or reported by the 4 techs who were at the customer's home, between August 15 and November 7, 2024.
    November 26, 2024 was the first report of these quite noticeable scratches on the existing metal trim of his garage.
    This customer was advised that we would not be replacing the metal trim because I don't believe the damage was caused by Precision Door.

     I am rejecting this response because:none of the techs. Ever brought to my attention of scratches before. I had cataract surgery and problems with my ability to see. The reply was I dont think we did it. If not you who, if this goes to court it will be more likely that you did do it since you were last working on it. They might have done it changing out windows and didnt realize it! So they never paid any attention, one guy was new.

    I had two garage door openers installed in January of 2021. And a few months ago I was having a problem with one of my openers the lights weren't working. They sent a technician and he found that the light pod was bad. He told me that it wasnt under warranty, I showed him my receipt where it stated that it was warranty for five years. He called his boss and I was told to call the manufacture to have them see if they had a part, and if not to have me try Amazon. I have called them numerous times and I have not yet received a call back from anyone.

    The customer was asked to contact the manufacturer (LiftMaster) because the manufacturer discontinued the product. Screenshots attached.

    Generally, the manufacturer will replace the unit with a new similar unit that is currently in production, sent to the customer, at which time we would install at no cost to the customer.

    I have attempted multiple times to contact the customer since November 2023, with no answer or return call.

    I had a new garage door installed by Precision Door on August 23, 2021. It was purchased in June of 2021. The installer was great, his name was *************************. He came back on September 3, 2021 to help me figure out the garage light. The door has four window panels. I ordered and paid for four sunray decorative panels for the windows. They did not have them for the installation, but said they would be getting them in and delivering them. That has not ever happened. I've called and emailed. The emails are not answered. Sometimes I get someone on the phone who says they will look into it and have someone get back to me, but no one ever does. I've been dealing with this for the past year and it seems clear to me that they don't really want to complete this order. All I want is the decorative panels.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I have no idea how or when they have tried to contact me, as I have never received any calls or emails.  I really don't believe this is true, but if they contact me now and take care of this it would solve the problem from my point of view.  Can you please make sure they have my correct contact information (email and/or cell phone)?

    I had a technician ************** the door on my garage that they installed in 2019. It looked like someone backed into it damaging 2 panels. I was told that they didn't replace panels so I would have to template the door. I can't just pay for the door, I have to buy the whole package. I don't know why they advertise that they have parts.

     I am rejecting this response because:
    I was hoping that they would just sell me the door itself. There is nothing wrong with all the other hardware they installed in 2019. Why can't they just charge me for just the door?

    We do offer parts, and for example can replace safety eyes or springs. However, we do not replace partial doors, and we also do not offer over the counter sales.

    I didn't ask for a partial door or an overwhelming counter sale. I asked for them to replace the door and charge me for just the door plus labor for installing in the hardware they put up o
