I had my car in there for a special coverage program which Im very happy with.. everyone was so nice. I dont like complaining but, I feel so stupid because of this problem. I got a call telling me they were covering the ******.. but then the lady also said there was a leak in my coolant SYSTEM. I took the phone to my boyfriend and asked specifically what it was , and told the lady I was just wanting to know if it was something my boyfriend can fix. She told me specifically, I had a leak in the coolant SYSTEM. From what she said it sounded like something we might as well have done while its in the shop, of course. When I got my receipt back home, it was a leak in my coolant **** And they charged me 59$ for the part and 100$ for probably a five minute repair. Three bolts and reconnecting the new one. Anybody could do this job, including myself. That is something I would have definitely had my boyfriend switch out for me had she told me it was the **** But she specifically said SYSTEM. I literally asked ahead of time before, & I feel lied to. I looked up how to do this job on ******* it was a ten minute job. I have taken my cars to **** before and they would let me know if there were something I could save money on, everyone is going thru c*** right now, its around Christmas , with Covid, I feel lied to and taken advantage of. This isnt just me regretting spending the money, she lied to me. The lady was super nice otherwise and I dont want anyone in trouble but I definitely feel as though it was predatory bc I am a female. I know how these places work and if I only called in , I feel they wouldnt do anything for me.
