1 starThe project manager was horrible! They were recommended by our insurance company. I called them back and let them know this Orange company was terrible. They changed the price of what it was going to cost and what they could do with the huge amount of money they had, wanting more and more for labor. I had to fire them. They never returned my $1000 deposit.
After months of waiting, I just did it myself. I am 75. I do believe they were taking advantage of us because of our age.
I would give them no stars if I could. I will also assure my insurance company that they should not subject people to these unqualified people.
I too will take all the legal actions available to get my deposit returned. You people should be ashamed of yourselves.Review fromRhonda A

1 starWe chose to use this company from an approved list by our insurance company solely because they were in our same town, being a local company we thought. Our project was opened on May 23, 2023, due to a sewer mishap in our home. The company came out the day after we opened the claim and got to work. They were very good at coming out the first week or two, then things went south quickly. The communication was very poor from the management level on down the line. It is now just over four months or a job that could have been completed in two at the very most. I do not recommend this company to anyone wanting a quality job. We have constantly had to beg them to get us on their schedule to get work done. I will never use this company again.Review fromCarrie S

1 starThis company showed up on October 17th on behest of our insurance company and made us feel like we had no choice but to allow them to begin the work right then and there. I expressed my concerns regarding drywall dust, debris and mold getting on my children’s things during the work. They brushed off my concerns saying that they'd just clean really well. They did not put up any type of barrier to contain the mess. While picking up toys to put away sometime later, having had no time to do so the day of, I found drywall dust all over my children's toys and a discarded screw on the floor where my 2-year-old could easily have gotten to it. (This screw was the same type they used to install the building wrap paper over the holes on November 9th.) After the blowers were removed on October 21st, they left the 5 holes in the walls of my children's rooms completely open. Other than the first hole they cut, the other holes look like they just punched the drywall out. As mentioned, they came on November 9th to finally cover the holes in the walls, and that was 2 and a half weeks that my house had open holes in the walls. They only came to cover the holes because we had mentioned the issue to our insurance and our insurance had contacted them about the issue. Well, when the project manager called my husband about coming out to cover the holes, he made a sexist remark about how only women complain about such things and reportedly seemed pissed off that he had to come perform this “additional” work. Those holes should have been covered on October 21st when the blowers were removed! When he came out on November 9th, I was assured that they would get the repair scheduled ASAP since the project was approved by insurance and it had already taken longer than expected. I should also note that part of the delay was due to their inability to submit the paperwork properly to insurance. I had to contact them on November 18th because we hadn't heard a word from them.Orange Restoration

Thank you for your comments.
Typically insurance companies have strict guidelines on what is allowed and what is not allowed, including containment walls or temporary repairs to the drywall. We must follow those guidelines, as well as instructions from the adjuster.
The estimate review process does take time due to a few stages of verification. Repair estimate was approved on November 7th. With that we knew what is approved and could make necessary adjustments, however we were not chosen to complete the repairs and we respect that decision.
The comments will be used for our internal training in order to improve communication process.Review fromHeather P

1 starI don't normally write reviews on businesses, but I don't want someone else to go through what we did. We had an incident at our house and Orange was a recommended company by insurance. The initial meeting with Orange went fine, but once insurance gave the okay and work started, so did problems. Workers were letting random people walk in our house, roofers were drinking alcohol while on the job, things were done incorrectly (multiple times and I have photo proof, it's not just an opinion). The communication was absolutely terrible; and that only got worse once Violeta took over. As a project manager, one would expect them to be somewhat local; however, she wasn't even in the country. This meant that she wasn't aware of what was happening. She had workers do the same thing twice because she didn't understand the process. She was constantly messing up. By the time Orange was "finished" ( I used quotations there because they didn't complete all of the work, we ended up kicking them out and finishing ourselves), they owed us thousands of dollars in damage that their people did. To make matters worse, most of their people had quit on them (out of the seven that I know of were there when our account started, only two were left by the end). Contractors even started ignoring calls. By the end, the owner, Andrius, was making all kinds of legal threats, even though we had never denied payment (on a side note, I had some tell me Orange employees tell me that they weren't sure he wasn't doing sketchy/illegal stuff with business finances).
The ONLY good thing with Orange was Sabrina. She is the Personal Property manager and she is the only one that made a bad situation better. She followed through, communicated, and was very empathetic. The day we moved back in was the only time I wasn't worried about if things were being done correctly by Orange, because I knew that she was in charge of it.
I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.Orange Restoration

Thank you for your input. While we understand the frustration of the full house rebuild process, including kitchen remodel taking 5 months, there are insurance company approval, permits and material order lead times factors involved. As in any complex job, there were concerns during the process, however, all of them were addressed in a timely fashion. Any material or labor delays were addressed as soon as possible, as well.
We went as far as sending crews from other areas in order to expedite certain portions of the project, as well as personally visiting the job site on numerous occasions.
All discussed damages were fixed or credited back.
As any business, we asked to be paid for the completed work, as clearly outlined by insurance adjuster approved estimate and were waiting for a few months before reminding about the contractual obligations.Review fromAmy N.

1 starIf I could give negative stars, I would.
This company is corrupt beyond belief.
They will take your money, not do the job, do it incorrectly, use left over and damaged materials from other jobs, not secure site against weather conditions/damage, not remove rotten wood, try to cover up shotty work, try to cover up damaged materials, not show up to do work for 10 days in a row, send one man to do the job of a crew, & tell you that it will take two weeks and still not have it completed two months later.
When you fire them for good cause, all of the above reasons, they will try to sue you.Orange Restoration

Thank you for the review, but we would like to base everything off the factual information.
- No damages to owners property was reported to us
- We did not show up for 10 straight days (2 weekends and 3 rainy days)
- We completed 27k out of 32k contracted work.
- We got paid $1,000 so far.
- Yes, we will use all available legal options to secure the payment.Review fromTammie M.

1 starThey have horrible communication I keep getting told one thing and the problem hasn't been fixed it's been a month now and my roof still not fixed correctly. The one lady at the company she keeps telling me someone will be out to fix the roof problem first of all if my roof was leaking then surely the wood behind the shingles need to be replace when I say I didn't see no wood to replace at all. They had 4 Mexican guys to fix my roof and it's still not right I don't have nothing against Mexicans my best friend is Mexican. But, the communication with this damn company sucks and on top of that my insurance that I just purchased for my home is about to be canceled if these problems not fixed. If it was a 0 I would probably give them that but, Perry was a nice guy understood the situation but, poor guy is overwhelmed with jobs tooOrange Restoration

We apologize it took us awhile to come back to review/fix the new loose shingles, since our roofer was out with illness for a little while. Ultimately were able to fix the loose shingles. All this time the roof was still protected and did not cause any property damage.
Upon time of repair, it was determined that the existing roof shingles are delaminating due to age and maintenance, which actually caused the shingles to become loose around the original repair area.
Thank you,
Orange Restoration Team
Our contract clearly states that we do not warranty partial repairs and insurance company refuses to pay for roofs that failing due to aging.Review fromKevin S

1 starStraight trash, Josh doesn’t actually manage, their workers have no clue what they’re doing, except for Sabrina. We used them once and we thought the first time was a fluke it was so bad and our insurance company recommended them so we did a bigger project with them. Bad idea. They’re after your money or insurance money, they actually ruin your things that were fine, and then there’s no follow through. Don’t use them, we never will again. Terrible, where’s the regulators, who fixes what they ruin.Orange Restoration

Mr. ********,
Any specifics would be very helpful.
While there is always a possibility our installers did not do everything 100% correct, we never refused to come out and fix. All our repairs are warrantied as well.
Thank you,

1 starThey are horrible with communication, or lack thereof, took 2 weeks just to get contract signed, another 2 weeks for them to come out and fix problem, only after I called them and asked why it;s taking so long, and they practically admitted to forgetting about me. Once they came out to fix said problem, one of the workers was caught telling Josh, the team lead, that the project was difficult and he was told to proceed anyway, which resulted in him causing more damage, which wasn't noticed until I ran my dishwasher and my kitchen floor was flooded, I called and texted pics to show the new damage that was caused by them, no response, I finally had to call again and spoke to the team lead and he had the nerve to ask me if i had a plumber come out and fix the problem..why would I pay for repairs that they caused. I argued and they finally sent out a plumber to fix the problem. It's been 2 weeks and I haven't heard a word from them. No phone calls, texts nothing. Also, this was a claim being filed from my homeowners ins and they were paid in advance from them and they took the money and ran. I still have a kitchen that needs repairs and flooring that needs to be replaced from there mess up. Horrible service, customer service and overall just bad company. They are not reputable, and didn't even really start work on my kitchen. I have a partly removed cabinet with mold growing in my walls that they did not take care of.
