***, the owner of Munster glass poorly communicated with me and my mother, installed the wrong window and refuses to take accountability for his lack of integrity. I called Munster Glass and spoke with ***. He asked me if the window had a vent, I said no. He told me to text him the address of my mother's home and he would be by that day to measure the window and quote me a price. I followed up the following day and he said he would send someone by to measure the window that day and would call me back with a price. He called me later and told me that he would order the window that day (Tuesday) and install it the following Tuesday. I paid him half the cost. I called *** the following Tuesday to make sure he was going to be installing the window that day. He did not know who I was but said he was due to get a shipment in at 11am and the window should arrive then. At 2pm I called him for an update he remained unfamiliar with our past communication. He finally remembered and said that the company making the block window was not finished. That he was call my mom when he picked up the window Thur to let her know he was on his way. My mom (who is a senior and who recently had a knee replacement) woke up Thursday morning to the doorbell ringing. *** did not call before he came and she managed to maneuver the stairs and let him in the basement. He installed the window and she paid him the remainder. She took a picture of the window and sent it to me and I noticed there was a vent in the window. I called *** and ask him why there was a vent in the window, I reminded him that he asked if the window I wanted replaced had a vent and I told him no. He told me that the company who assembled the window, assembled it wrong, so he just picked up like that. I asked him why he didn't communicate that to me before "picking it up like that" or before installing something I did not order. He would not answer and hung up on me. Please beware of *** and the Munster Glass business.
