    I was scheduled for a cleaning at Family Dental Care (FDC) as a new patient on 10/21. Prior to scheduling, I confirmed with my insurance, MetLife, that FDC was in-network and it was confirmed. Upon arriving to FDC, my insurance was also confirmed by FDC. ************* was my assigned dentist, and after he examined my teeth, he informed me that I needed to schedule another appointment to have the hygienist do my cleaning since she was OOO. I scheduled for 11/4. On 10/26, ******* sent claim stating on 10/21, I saw ******************* and I would be responsible for $117 while the benefit paid $108. I did not see ******************* and my visit was supposed to be $0 because the provider I saw, *************, was in my network. On 10/26, MetLife called and spoke to ***** from FDC and she confirmed I did see *************. She stated she would make note for the insurance rep to fax MetLife the correct claim since she was not authorized to do so. This was never done. On 11/14, ******* had to call FDC again to ask about the promised correction and spoke to ***** in insurance from FDC who said she would electronically send MetLife the corrected claim with ***************** name. Upset, I wrote a negative ****** review on FDC 11/15. ****** from FDC contacted me on 11/15 wanting to know more about my experience and said she would handle it. On 11/16, she called me and informed me she would take care of the $117 IF I would delete the negative review while also stating FDC was not in my network. This was a threat I did not appreciate or take lightly. So I am responsible for $117 because FDC submitted a claim with the wrong doctor's name? Also, MetLife has paid FDC 3 times, 1 of which should be refunded back to MetLife and the $117 deleted since I did not see *******************. I am not paying $117. ****** stated she would email me a $0 statement, but she has not emailed me anything. Do not threaten me because I will seek legal action if this is not handled and do not send me any balances because I do not owe anything.
