If I could leave less than one star, I would. This was a business with which I stayed too long and ignored all of the red flags. In my initial interview, this business was likened to "one big family". In said "family", they overwork and underpay all while never providing you a break.I signed an offer letter that agreed to being paid $14.50 before *** training and $16.50 upon completion of my *** exam (this pay is for those with a Bachelor's) . I was also told that I would be put on as full-time (this would be 35 hours a week, which was not disclosed to me). I finished my training and exam within two weeks, excited to be put on my first client and receive a pay raise. I would not be put on a consistent client for the next two months and would instead get paid $10.00 to "float" (cleaning the building). In order to be on a client and get my *** pay, this meant accepting texts as early as 6:30 AM to cover for an *** who was out. Ironically, I would later be given a shirt in an "earning of wings" ceremony for my "team player energy".Along with this, there are no lunch nor bathroom breaks guaranteed. RBT's are encouraged to be out of ratio in order to provide other RBT's with a few spare minutes to use the bathroom or heat up food. At times staff must wait for hours to go to the bathroom if there is no one available. It is clear that the owner is a money hungry person with a God complex. She will tell parents the wonders of her clinic, but fail to mention how often kids are switched between RBT's or held down for the sake of "helping them get better". She will not disclose to new parents that their child will be switched from person to person, sometimes with less than an hour's notice. She will not mention the yelling "LOOK. AT. ME." & excessive hand-over-hand prompting to each child during preschool sessions. This does not come as a surprise considering you need NO EXPERIENCE with kids to work here.If you respect yourself or children, do NOT work at this place.
