    On 7/11/3025 I purchase 5 lbs of Jade beans in store. I spent $33.92 on these alone and lllhave been a regular customer.I planted 2.5 lbs of Jade beans, planted ten 50 rows . I transplanted them down to one, 50 row because they didnt germinate. Not only am I out my cost, I spent a lot of time planting & then transplanting, and missed out on sales at $4 lb. I drove 75 min each way & 35 in gas. Im not seeking compensation for that. I called recently to complain and the man that answered why hadnt I called. I said, I am calling now. Its the first time I remembered and had the chance to call. He told me to bring the receipt in . I told him I lived 75 minutes from there , I could not drive there, it would take me that much in gas for the refund. I told him I would send him a copy. He said he would give store credit. He then asked for the number on the bag and said it had a good germination on file with ************* .He said conditions were dry and he definitely would not refund the purchase price if I filled a complaint with the BBB. I just finished my last farm market Sat, Nov 1st. I am not a hobby or home gardener and was covered up in beans last year and my Top Crop came up within 2 days. I know what I am doing and know how to irrigate plants . I am seeking a full refund and if they want beans back they can mail me a prepaid mailer. There are 2.4 lbs left. I want a check mailed because he threatened me, he would not refund if I filed a complaint. I dont wish to be treated rude if I would return. I will take my business to a closer location, that treats me fair and doesnt threaten me, and make me feel uncomfortable to do business at their location . I was shocked at his comment. I have told customers this was my last year, so I want a refund, not store credit. I do want to do business there again.

    I have reached out to customer to have them email receipt as proof of purchase and once we receive that I will issue a refund. Even though it is way past the 30 days for the customer to report any problems. I have not heard back from the customer.

     I am rejecting this response because:I reached out to the business, and was never told to mail the receipt(asked me to bring it in) or a 30 day policy. I talked to E & R in person and they said return on bad seed was within that year season. I work continually during the season and dont have a social life or time to upkeep my house, let alone reach  out . I replaced the seed from another company and variety . I will get a copy of the receipt and get it mailed in the next few days.

    When I  Get the refund I will contact the bbb. And change my response
