    After emailing my 10day payoff for my previous vehicle, I sent a follow up email to make sure that they got the information and were able to review it. I never got a response. Two weeks later I call and ask to speak to the finance personnel that I sent the payoff email to. When speaking on the phone he was able to verify that he got the payoff email and that I was good to go with no additional feedback. THE VERY NEXT DAY I get a call from the same finance staff member, who says that I now owe (about $50) because the 10 day payoff was submitted late. I asked to speak to the manager about the lack of communication - NOT THE INVOICE OF $50 ITSELF. The manager, *******, gets on the phone is over explaining the payoff invoice, raising his voice, insulting my intelligence in explaining how payoffs work, and speaking over me when I try to explain that the issue is communication between his staff and I. The conversation was rooted in misogyny and belittlement; neither were needed or condusive to a proper business phone call. I do not recommend at all.

    Horrible horrible service! My son put his car there for repairs. His car is under warranty. Gates has had my sons car for 5 months! They blame the warranty **** not getting back with them, etc I call the warranty **** and they say Gates have the go ahead and permission to repair the car. Its a back and forth blame game but the bottom line is they are super lazy at Gates and want somebody to blame. We got my sons car back and it was broke down 2 days later doing the same. They were supposed to replace the motor, the car is a 2018 and the motor they put in looked worst than the original! The car had to go right back to Gates and now its going on another 3 months!!! Ive never seen anything like it. I wish I knew who to call higher up. Its so bad that my son doesnt even call because he wants to just cuss them out hes already lost his job due to transportation problems. JB and every one else working on the car should be ashamed!

    Wish I could rate 0 stars. Took my sons car into body shop for work and when we picked up the car noticed apple charger was no longer in the car. Absolutely unbelievable, a freaking $10 charger was taken by one of the gates employees. Never again will we do business with them. We have bought 3 vehicles here Never again!! Horrible!!!

    I took one of my trucks in for an airbag recall. Everyone in the service department was ok.I'd been thinking about selling this vehicle, so I sat down with ******************* to talk about if they'd be interested in purchasing the truck. It is because of **** that I will never set foot on a Gates' lot ever again. He told me that I was wasting his time because I wouldn't agree to sell the vehicle to them BEFORE they offered me a price. How can I do that when the terms of the sale haven't been agreed upon? Very hard sell. Very confusingly hostile. I don't understand why anyone would want to treat a customer like this but since that time whenever someone mentions buying a car or asks about car lots I make sure to tell them that they should definitely avoid Gates because they're the worst.Also, it's pretty trivial compared to everything else, but: **** said if I sold them the vehicle he would have a check for me in 7 to 10 days (and didn't pass up on the opportunity to respond in a dismissive and offensive manner when I expressed my thought that this time frame seemed a bit long). The dealership I did sell the truck to had a check ready for me the very next day. Gates is the worst.

    WOULD NOT RECOMMEND CARS ARE PRICED WAY OVER ***** BLUE BOOK VALUE I TRIED TO FINANCE WITH THEM THRU ********** CREDIT UNION AND ********** EXPOSED THAT ALL THE VEHICLES THERE WERE OVERPRICE DRASTICALLY AND THEY USE DECEPTIVE SALES TATCIS TO RIP THE CUSTOMERS OFF I TOOK MY TRUCK HERE FOR REPAIRS AND THE RECOMMENDED I GET OVER 7K IN REPAIRS WHICH I MADE MOST OF THEM AND THEN REFUSE TO SERVICE MY VEHICLE AFTER THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND TRIED TO SELL ME A CAR SAYING IT WAS NOT WORTH ME PUTTING ANYMORE INTO IT WHICH NOW IM IN THE PROCESS OF SEEKING LEGAL MATTERS RATING SHOULD BE HALF A STAR
