    While shopping for RVs, came across many listings at this dealership. Upon calling about the ones we were interested in- they say 'Oh, those are all sold'. Even though many of the listings said 'On Order and a future date.Can a business legally advertise to sell items that are 1) not in their possession and 2) are already sold? Not falling for a ************** Even a week later, the listings are still on their website.

    We Appreciate you shopping with us here at The Outpost RV and according to my research you were looking at the 16FQ possibly and you are correct that we are currently out of inventory on this model, however we do have more on order.

    We aim to always have everything we post on our website in stock but we can never predict the future of what and how much to keep on order. So we do run out occasionally on certain models and that is when we note on our website whether it is in stock. Right now almost everything is in stock, but a few are on order. If you know this is the model you want we can put your name on one and hold it for you.

    The model I was looking at is 2022 Forest River Cherokee Grey Wolf Midwest 26DJSE Stock #: ON ORDER 9-13-23.

    When I talked to the salesman without hesitation, he indicated it was most likely sold if on order - then he confirmed it was sold. I would just ask if you have sold items, to mark them that way on your site - the note that they are on order is misleading to customers - it looks like today - you have this to sell, but it won't arrive until 9/13/2023. It is confusing to people who are trying to find specific models. It feels like a tactic and wastes everyone's time. Luckily, I didn't drive to see this without calling first.

    Sorry, there must have been a misunderstanding between the 2 of you on the 26DJSE.

    We had some 2022 26DJSE's to get rid of and we did sell our last one, however the one coming off line on 9-13-23 is not sold and would be a **** model.

    Sometimes they do not get dispatched on the day it comes off line so please do call before coming, but as long as it has a date it is still an open unit.
