    I got a quote from him to get my ****** fixed I sent him the truck and he had it for 3 weeks and I got the truck back fixed but I never got paperwork from him or the ****** shop for the work that was done on the truck because he said he had to send the truck to a ****** shop to get fixed and I asked for the paperwork from the ****** shop and all he told me was he didnt have the paperwork because everything will go through his shop if there is any problems with it I had to get a 5 thousand dollar loan to get it fixed and he can not provide me with the paperwork from the ****** shop that did the work on it and I wanna know why he cant give it to me when I have the right to the paperwork of the work that was done on my truck

    The customer who filed this complaint came to my shop on or around October 12th, asking for an exact quote to have his transmission rebuilt as he needed to get a loan from the bank & was told it had to be an exact amount or they would not loan him the money. I told him that I could give him an estimate and gave him one for what would've been the "worst case scenario" depending on what needed replaced, but I could not guarantee a set price due to the fact that if the transmission shop found additional things that needed repaired it would be more. I cannot control the fact that we had his truck for 3 weeks especially given the fact that from the time he initially came in asking for a quote to the time he gave the "ok" for the repairs, 2-3 weeks had elapsed. He was told that the transmission shop was 4 weeks out for repairs & his truck was returned to him a week ahead of schedule.  After the work was complete & the customer had his truck back, he proceeded to call & tell me that his bank needs a detailed receipt of what was repaired/replaced & how much each item was; mind you this was AFTER he received the loan. I told him that isn't something I have & if he wanted to, he could call the transmission shop, but they don't give receipts like that to which we ourselves are not even provided a detailed receipt showing every ring, screw, etc that was replaced. I verified with his bank that they needed a receipt & was told they do not. 

    The customer said several times, "I have a new truck". After I explained to him several times that it is not new, the transmission had just been rebuilt. 

    He asked for a service, which was provided to him. He was given a receipt upon his payment & Further, we were told by his credit union that we had to write him a check for the difference in the loan as the bank loaned him more money than what he needed for this repair. We typically don't do business like that & have learned our ****** to never do it again. We feel people like this customer are looking for a problem that isn't there, to benefit in some way. We understand as business owners, you can't please everyone, it's unfortunate this customer is not happy with the service provided however, we will not waste our time & energy on this issue. 

    At this time there is nothing more we have to provide for this customer & politely ask that he never consult for our services again. Continued complaints will result in legal action. If the BBB would like the receipt that was provided to the customer, we are happy to provide that.

     I am rejecting this response because: the work that has been done is a great thing bc I still owe on the truck but the truck transmission is still under warranty for 75 thousand miles or three years and If there is a problem with it they will be getting it back to fix it right away bc they said it had to go through them

    The invoice provided to the customer is the only invoice available.  The transmission repair is covered under warranty as stated and it is covered using this invoice. If anything happens to the transmission that is a covered repair the repairs can be done at CJ's Garage or ****************************************** both repair shops have the customer information saved and VIN of the vehicle so everything can be tracked.  I am not sure what more this customer want I have provided them with a receipt with all the information on it.  I have nothing more to provide at this time, the customer is requesting something that I do not have, and I cannot provide.
