    This property management company is the worse by far! I lived in a unit for a year and during the winter months my electric bill was $700 a month. I requested them to have **** come and inspect the unit which he said my bill was extremely high & unheard of. He stated that the unit was new and that electric heat is just expensive. They were of no help to me. Fast forward to my move out. They took half of my deposit ($700) for claims of needing new paint. Indiana law prohibits landlords from charging for paint as it is normal wear and tear. They also charged $300 to spot clean walls in a bedroom. I paid a rush fee to have my deposit back within 10 days and it has been 30 days and i still havent received it and the lady that I am assigned to (*******) doesnt respond to my emails anymore. This company just continues to disappoint me. I wish I would have listened to all of the people who advised me not to rent from ***.

    Thank you for your review. I want to clarify a couple of items. The $300 cleaning was for the entire unit- not just the walls in the bedroom. The property was cleaned prior to your move in and part of the move out instructions was to clean it upon you vacating. As for paint- we do not charge for normal wear and tear on paint .However, when there were nails, we had to remove those and patch which then requires paint. The nails and nail holes were not there when you moved in. Unfortunately, all electric heat does cost a little more than gas heat but when you factor in that you only have an electric bill and no gas bill, it is very similar to gas heat. As for the rush deposit, I do see we did not get this out to you in 10 days. We will be refunding your $75 fee and mail that to your forwarding address. The deposit refund was sent to you on 8/15.

    This proper management is thee worst by far. I was approved for a home 07/04/24 in which they did not want to do repairs on prior to me moving in so i asked for a drop in the monthly amount if I have to complete repairs out of pocket. They told me someone else was looking into the home. A couple of weeks later, they told me the owners were wanting to move forward with me as a tenant. After everything was processed and approved i was to receive a call to pick up the key. Well, i received a call 9/20/24 that the owners were selling the home and a refund will be issued by both the security deposit company and *** for the first months rent. The security comany issued the refund immediately l. I was told by *** that I had to wait 2 weeks before they can send me my refund. Today has been too long and I was told I will be mailed a check. I did not mail the payment. So why do i have to continue to suffer?? Do not go through these people as they come off as scammers to me.

    Do not rent from these people or sell your business to these people. They literally don't care about you. Semi-recently bought an apartment building. Apparently had plans to renovate it but couldn't work out how to do so without kicking everyone out. They fabricated some story about everyone being the source of a bedbug infestation and took it to court and got everyone evicted. Including I might add some elderly disabled people on HUD that have lived there much longer than they've owned the building. Do not under any circumstances rent from these people. They should be shut down as far as I'm concerned.

    Due to a small water leak from the apartment above us, a ceiling in our apartment needed to be repaired. I have been battling cancer for the past two and one-half years and am frequently away at the doctor and / or hospital. The needed work was originally going to be during a nearly three month period that I was in three different hospitals and had most serious surgery. The maintenance department went out of their way on the two appointments to complete this work. My son and I are most grateful for this and the quality of the work as well as how I was treated, since I am only slowly able to start coming around, thank you CRM I am starting my seventh year here and recommend their selection of properties and desire to find what / where you are looking for.

    Do not do any business with this company. They should be investigated by the ** of *******, for their shoddy business practices. They have the gall to charge a $35 processing fee to pay your monthly rent in cash. If you don't agree to sign a one year lease, they charge an additional $75 p/month on your rent. STAY AWAY!!

    Unfortunately, we do not allow cash in our office as a safety precaution. We have free options to pay rent and a "cash" option using a rent money voucher where you can take your cash to a merchant with your voucher and they will process your payment and it will be applied to your acccount. As for the month to month fees, this is an industry standard in property management. I see you have given your notice to vacate. We will do our best to make this process as smooth for you as possible!
