In January I had cental air and a new furnace put in and cost me ***** dollars and my main complaint is that it does not heat or cool the upstairs I have told the company 3 times and yet nothing gets done the other thing is that I smell gases out side my home in the late fall and winter again nothing done they also did a terrible job of putting it in alot of duct work hanging down not a big enough furnace I do not think or it would heat the upstairsI barely have air flow up there also hard to change air filter cause the furnance is on its side all arround bad job for the money I spentBusiness response

In September of 2020 we had ****** Heating, Air and Plumbing come out to our house to repair ductwork and install a ***** vent, in April 2021 we noticed a leak to our second floor ceiling. We filed a claim with insurance who then sent someone out to inspect the issue, their findings were that the ***** vent was installed incorrectly causing the leak and because of this they denied our claim and recommended we call ****** to get the situation corrected. We called ****** and sent them a breakdown of the findings from the company our insurance sent out however they stated they were not willing to come out and correct the issue and that we would need to file it through our homeowners policy, we explained they would not cover faulty work and that we expected them to correct the work they did in addition to the water damage since it was a result of them installing the vent incorrectly. We paid them $850 only to now have to pay another $960 to fix their mistake, unacceptable!Business response

We were called out to the home to replace some attic ductwork that had been chewed up by some animals, animals had gotten in through attic vent. We quoted actually 0 dollars to do attic vent. Original price was not changed when we were asked to do this job, we do Hvac and plumbing not siding. Reluctantly we decided to do it anyway and with a Homeowner supplied vent. It clearly states it is the wrong vent? I will copy the quote,
"The current ***** vent does not appear to be the correct vent for vinyl siding. It is installed behind the siding, but has left a gap,
allowing water to intrude behind the siding. This has caused water damage to the ceiling of the upstairs hallway.I explained to the Mr of the home if they thought we were at fault their homeowners insurance would go to our insurance. I have the call if needed, I had no idea their insurance wouldn't even cover it until now. Please let us know what we can do to get past this.
